Hi Chevalier. Unfortunately I don't have anyone who can hand down. He is going through a short, chubby stage just now so needs mens waist size but I then need to cut off about a foot of leg. He used to be so skinny I had to take in the waists on anything I bought. He just seems to be following the family pattern. No doubt by next year he will be a lanky, skinny drip lol. Will just need to bite the bullet and get them for him.
Going to tidy the house today and catch up with some washing. Most of my ironing got done yesterday and dd will do hers today. I caught ds (13) watching telly at 3am as he couldn't sleep so he is losing all items with plugs on them from his room until the weekend. Today he will be busy cleaning his room out as a further punishment . Evil mummy is on the rampage today.Need to go to my mums to feed her later but I will make shepherds pie here and take some in for her.She wants her decorations down today so will need to do that too. DD's bf also coming for dinner . Will need to be a big shepherds pie .Best get on and get done. Have a good day folks x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Oooh sounds a busyday MIT. Shame about the needed spend.
Just had to spend, well OH did, £65ish on DD2 on clothes for a school trip. Again mainly trousers scary how it adds up. I said I would contribute half but will see if I can offset it against what he owes me. Normally we have hand me downs from DD1 but nowhere to be seen at the mo
We also have the fun of getting kids to sleep at a reasonable time the girls especialy are staying up and sleeping in later.:j0 -
KP the sleeping issue is a huge one between ds and I. Even when he was a baby he never needed much sleep and it is an ongoing battle to get him settled at night. When it is school I have him showered and in bed most nights by 9.30 and lights out at 10 but during the holidays he seems to think it is a free for all sometimes. Really annoys me as I am trying to sleep and he is bouncing off the walls lol as he has slept until lunchtime. Well not today:rotfl:. Had him up at 10 am and have worked him like a donkey all day. He will be knackered come bed time. He is so desperate to get back in my good books so he can get his x-box back that he hasn't stopped all day. Even came to my mum's with me and helped take all her deccys down :rotfl:.
Managed to get him 2 pairs of trousers in Peacocks for £20. They do a shorter leg so hem wont need to be so big. Also exchanged a pair of trousers that I got him last week as they were too big. Hopefully unless he has another massive growth spurt either out or up he should be okay for clothes for a couple of months. Fingers crossed.
Spent a few pounds in ASDA. Bought carrots, potatoes, juice and wine glasses. Total of £8.76. Glasses were only £2 for 6 and ds breaks mine very regularly so really needed them. Unfortunate thing was that when he went to put them into a carrier bag ( still being mr helpful as mentioned before) one fell out of the carrier and smashed on the floor of ASDA. :rotfl::rotfl:he was totally mortified. I couldn't stop laughing and said to the guy ' I usually at least get them home before he starts smashing them'
Made lentil soup and put the carrots and potatoes in it and also the leftover ham from last night. Totally yummy. Had shepherds pie and beans for main course which was yummy too. Free box of marks and spencers chocs and packet of sweet thai chilli crisps that I got from mum and tonight is sorted. Actually starting to look forward to Wednesday so I get back to normal eating.
Going to chill on here tonight and watch some telly too. House is all shiny clean. Washing almost up to date and same with ironing. I am going out tomorrow to meet my friends for a nice lunch and a couple of cheeky wines so I am very looking forward to that. Loving 2011 so far despite ds's best efforts to drive me crazy.xx

And your poor son - sounds like something I would do smashing things in the shop lol, my HM is far worse though! Keep him working to get his xbox back! My parents were never strict on bedtime over the holidays and I wish now they had of been as my own sleep pattern is all over the place - lastnight I stayed up til near 4am cleaning!!

Cleaning!!!
I only clean at crazy times when someone dies. I hope no-one died. Might be an idea to get your thyroid checked. It can make you do weird things like that. I think it is when it is overactive.
DS, Poor soul. He came down a wee while ago and massaged my neck :rotfl:. I said thanks very much and he said 'now can I get on my x-box?' I folded like a pack of cards lol. Told him he can get 2 hours. DD said I am rubbish at discipline but I really do try and they are really good kids so I must do okay sometimes. He's just shouted down the stairs that he is still not on (x-box) so I dont count 2 hours :rotfl:. Evil mummy has won this round I think. No doubt I will be on here in a week or so moaning my head off about his room again!!.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

haha poor lad!
I only clean so late cos this place is a mess lol - not so much cleaning but decluttering! Im desperate to move but me and HM have agreed not to move until we sell all our rubbish cos theres no point paying for a van to move and then selling half the stuff when we move in away so I was hoping to get everything decluttered in a few days but thats now looking like its turning into a few weeks lolLife is what you make it.0
