Hi. Went to party tonight and it ended up really quiet. When I arrived they were actually all sitting watching Eastenders. I was mortified lol. Never mind I had a really nice chat and another couple of folks turned up so that was fine. HOme nice and early and just a few drinks so all is well. Got a lift home as well so no spends which is brilliant

Good on you, MIT! I am too hungover to compose a proper reply but I will be cheering you on this year, I'm hoping it's a good year for me too.
Meant to add yesterday - hungover at half 4 - must of been a good night!! Mind you Im usually asleep at that time:j0 -
Hi weeclick. Welcome to my world xx
KP I can totally sympathise with SEa. If I get a hangover these days it can last 2 days lol. You'd think I'd learn as I get older but I really don't
Going to share a minging fact with you now. My niece bought me some L'occitane products at Christmas and they are lush lush lush. I've never had anything so special just to pamper me. One of them is a foot cream and all the grotty hard skin has gone from my feet :rotfl:. I bet you're glad I shared :rotfl:.
Anyway a NSD today for me. Very happy about that. Hopefully lots more to come. Had a major yummy dinner and still sticking to my menu plan that I made last week. No more money paid from anything as I am going to wait until the end of the month and pay off what I am left with in the bank. If that doesn't work and I end up spending it all then I will rethink. I found the last time that I made a big effort to pay off the debts that if I paid what I allegedly had as excess I always struggled big time during the month. I have weekly money that I use to live on so if I have anything left from that then I will use it to make overpayments but I seriously doubt that there will be anything.
My weekly money is just under £100. THis is to pay for shopping, petrol and school lunches. The lunches are £30 during term times, petrol approx £20 per week and shopping about £50 sometimes more so you can see it's tight. Need to start doing surveys etc again and bring some cash in. Hope you are all having fun in the new year and if not then hopefully it will get better xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

jeezo nearly set my house on fire. A candle went up in flames and I threw water on it ( I know, I know) and the flames and wax shot everywhere. Nearly peed myself. Had to light another one to take away the smell :-)5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Ok first small setback in finances
. DS has grown so much over the last month that his school trousers are flapping around his ankles and I need to get him new ones before he goes back to school. B*gger. THat'll be about £20. THere's just no way he can wear them though as he will get teased rotten and last ear was a nihtmare with bullies so I really really do not want to give them any food for fodder. So tomorrow I will be off to ASDA and see what I can get for him. SHeesh !!

you don't have any friends with older children who can hand some down to him? Or what about charity shops for school uniform. sometimes it doesn't look like it is worn.....
