  • Good Evening :D. Spent £6.88 today which was £6 on kids lunches and 88p on rolls for their dinner. I left work at 4pm today :D which although I am on flexi, because my team worked until 5pm I never left prior to that either as I felt guilty. It was weird walking out at 4pm but I couldn't help having a wee smile to myself. This meant I got to mums and made her dinner and chatted for a while with her as well as done some tidying up and I was home before 6pm ......result :D. I think I'll do that every Tues and Thurs so I'm not quite so late home.

Started my training today and it was mega boring. I have the concentration span of a gnat :rotfl:. Never mind I'll pick it up quickly enough as I have done many aspects of the post before. It might even be quite interesting for a while and the stresses of having staff has been removed so realy I should just look at all this as a bonus move.

Made soup tonight and it is yum. I've had 2 bowls of it already :o. Good job it is low fat as this is day 2 of healthy eating and all seems to be going well so far. I just need to keep it up :D.

Watching Big bro and loving it as per. Ashamed to say I am a huge fan and get sucked into every series and definitely going to get sucked into this one :o

  • Evening folks. Didn't post yesterday as didnt have much to say. Makes a change eh! Still not much to say today as life pretty quiet. Not spent much other than petrol and some fruit and obviously lunches for kids.Been taking my lunch in so no spends for me as I had everything bought in.

I was going to try and not do any grocery shopping again this week but I dont think it will be possible as I am going to run out of yogurts and a couple of other things. My mum is asking me to wheel her along to ASDA on Saturday so she can get some shopping, so I could just get a few things whilst there with her. My chest freezer is fairly emptying but I shall get some bread and rolls and fill it up again :D. I love having it. I am expecting it to be nearly empty come the end of the month anyway but at least this month, being a skint one, will give me a good indication of how it will help me in the future to budget my shopping better.

I'm owed 2 weeks maintenance and I just wish to hell it would get paid. It's £156 and would allow me to get DS's trip money for this month paid and also get his passport sorted out with some left over to ocerpay as so far this month I am nowhere near what I want to pay off. In a sense that is a good thing as I know that if my other payments go up loads then I have a fair wee bit of leeway cash wise. It aso takes a bit of the pressure off of me when DD goes to uni as I knw if I really need to I can take my foot off the pedal a bit and I will stil manage. I dont want to but at least I know I can :)

  • evening folks. Spent £6 today n kids lunches and that was all :). Stil managing to take my own unch with me every day. Scales had definitely moved this morning so hopefully I am back on the wagon as far as food goes.

Sat tonight and listed freezer, fridge and cupboard contents and made up a menu pan until the end of the month. Will shop tomorrow for the bits and bobs I will need to see me through. I should hopefully only need fruit then until the end of the month (hopefully :rotfl:). I have just under £75 of my grocery budget left so if I manage that then I will be very happy :D.

Still no maintenance. So that's now 2 weeks owed so should get 3 weeks next week. This is useless getting so irregularly and I am going to complain next week if they don't sort it out. I got my MP onto it last time and everything was ironed out so we'll see what happens. I'm wanting to get DS's passport and pay some money from CC so I wish they would get a move on .

Very cold here tonight. I left work at 3.30 and was excited to et home early for a change. Popped my pj's on so that I could work around the house in comfort then got a call from my mum. She needs someone to toilet her and she was desperate for the loo. so I popped on my heels and drove into her house in my pj's and heels  what a fashion icon I am :rotfl:. Got her sorted quickly but by the time I returned I was off the notion of doing any work so other than cooking and washing I have done nothing :o. Never mind it'll be still waiting on me tomorrow.

  • Your life is so busy.

I am glad you are feeling a little better about the job, but mind you, I changed jobs and went up a grade and while I lost staff I now have more money, more time and less of the performance management issues, but it is a bit lonlier. Its baltic here today. Hope you are feeling well. Im sure your jamas and heels will be cutting edge fashion somewhere on the planet!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • SBO they are cutting edge fashion in my world :p.

I am shattered tonight. Was away out this morning at 8.30 to clening job so I could fit in some shopping prior to going to my mum's. Went to farmfoods on the way back and bought £36 worth of food. I felt as if I got tonnes of stuff for that. I'm well impressed. I should go there more often. I didn't actually buy that much frozen stuff but got bread etc and their buys on biscuits are just great. Bought loads of biccies to keep the kids going the next couple of weeks. I've hidden some so DS doesn't just hoover his way through them all ;). I got 5 pizzas for £4 . I usually pay £4 for 1 :o and even then DD adds toppings to hers as she loves mushrooms and you never really see cheese and mushroom pizzas. Brilliant bargain. Pizzas are fab for quick dinners that the kids can heat up themselves. Personally I only like a wee bit as I get bored eating all that dough but they love them. Went to Morrisons as well and spent £22 in there. I certainly didn't feel as if I got lots there :( but it was all things I needed and a couple of extras. So what does this al mean to me? My bloody shopping budget has only £5.05 left in it until the 31st :rotfl:.Oh well who knows I might manage :rotfl:. I do have a meal plan until the end of the month and I also have enough bread and milk in the freezer but I will need fruit. Ach well I will try and see how I manage.

Been in mum's the rest of the day and had a nice wee surprise visit from one of my cousins and his family so that was good. Freezing here tonight but cosy in the house and just chilling.

  • NSD today :D. I often stay in the house all day on a Sunday so it's easy to limit my spends. My sandwiches are all made for tomorrow so I can keep up with my 'not buying lunch' challenge to myself. Still managing to stick to my healthy eating as well so fingers crossed my weight loss tomorrow will be nice. DD has also decided to come on board with the healthy eating. Funnily a few years ago I was accusing her of not eating as she was so skinny and now she really needs to lose about a stone. She bought size 12 jeans yesterday and couldn't fasten them so she was gutted. She asked for her weekly unch money and went in today and bought herself lunch foods to keep her going all week. All I have really seen is juice but we shall see how she gets on ;).

I have just pottered about today. Did the remainder of my ironing, did 3 loads of washing, tidied up, 3 loads of dishes  and made the dinner. so at least now our house is not quite the hovel it was this morning. Sometimes I think I have such a cheek cleaning other people's houses when mine is a sh*t hole half the time :rotfl:. Never mind. It's probably actually pretty clean it just gets mega untidy as my 2 reckon they can just drop everything at their butt and unless I go off my head it just stays where it falls. I know I'm not alone in this with teenage kids but it drives me nuts sometimes. I had to clean the bath earlier just to go into it as it was covered in fake tan which loked like pooh. Not pleasant. Anyways a nice wee quiet evening sitting amongst all my wet washing listening to DS shouting on his x-box and DD shouting at him because he is shouting on his x-box Heaven !!:rotfl:Kids

  • yep pretty much the same here KP. No actual swearing but loads of shouting oads of freakin this and freakin that and what the hells etc but hey mum that's not swearing. Hmmmmm

OMG it is so cold here. My house is freezing . I even have the electric heater on and DD has a hot water bottle in her room with her.I hate winter !! I dnt do cold very well . I hate it too hot as well mind you, in fact I am just a moan :rotfl:.

I made a mistake in my shopping budget I actually have £15 left :j so I miht just make it. I got 1 payment of maintenance in today so that is DS's trip paid for this month. DS is going to save his spending money himself for his hols and I am going to try and sell stuff to make money to buy his clothes as he wil need loads as he just couldn't care less how he looks so DD and I will need to pack his stuff in outfits for him or he will be a right state :rotfl:. I aso picked up the forms for the kids passports so I'll get DS sorted out soon and DD later on as she doesn't actually need hers yet.

I am in a quandary as my mum has been paying my car tax the last couple of years as she gives my brother her DLA one and mine is due end of Jan. I don't want to ask her for the money but I really can't afford it . What will I do?? Answers please :o

I'm feeling a bit bleugh today. Nothing has happened as such to make me feel bleugh but bleugh is how I feel despite that. Nothing is going as I want it to , I've broken diet and ate all sorts of rubbish, I've not paid anything off of my debt since the start of the month and I am mega skint ( I have 33p in bank). I don't see things getting any better before end of month either so bleugh I will stay.:p
