How do I cancel my DLA claim.

That's because the claimant either doesn't write enough information (and expects the DM to understand that having x means they can't do y) or because they focus on what they can do.

Either way it is a fact that it relies on form filling - not my greatest attribute.

Besides which, as I have said before, DIAL, CAB & Age UK have all said to me after I asked for advice that despite the form filling there is no guarantee of success and the application will almost inevitably lead to a court hearing. Something that I will no longer consider. Been there once before and it was a nightmare!

I signed on for 13 weeks. It really wasn't that bad. Yes, I was sent on a back to work thing too - but that was only for a few hours and did help me.

That may suit you, but it certainly would not suit me.

You make no sense at all.

    Of course I do!

You might find it more difficult to work than fight for a benefit.

  • Anyhow this is getting way off the topic. I have said my opinion as to what the OP should do, and I have backed it up with my own views.

I can't see the point in carrying on with this as no real further advice is forthcoming for the OP.

Are you unable to read or understand what is being said?

I am hoping to work, I am looking for work - I don't want to languish on benefits any longer than I have to.

    Not always true:
My first claim got turned down and I went to CAB. They filled in the GL24. 12 weeks later I was awarded LRM & LRC.
