Sorry, don't compute the last post (advised to my email)- Was it by one 'savemoney' or one 'gladiatorexecutive 61'. It's gobbledegook anyway and doesn't help one iota.0

Just signed up for the Amazon one, purely for the £15.
I suspect I may not get it, since I have applied for both a Play and a Virgin card in the past few months and they are all MBNA (I think).0 -
Has anyone got cards for Amazon, Play and Virgin? Like gjs1701 i'm tempted by the sign up offers but not sure I'd be eligible for all 3 offers as the cards are all MBNA.0

I had a Play card with £3000 limit. When the Virgin card with no-fee transfer came up, I signed up for that and promptly got a phone call from MBNA - they agreed to give me the card, but split the credit limit between the two cards.
So I am expecting a phone call.0 -
cheers for that. mayb i'll just get the one card then.0

I'm thinking of getting a cashback credit card and would intend to use that to pay for as much as possible in order to gain the points/cashback.
I know that it is possible to pay for many of my household bills by credit card and also my rent and council tax. However, what I really need to know is if these payments on the credit card would be classed as 'spending' and therefore count towards my cashback; or if cashback can only be gained on retail spending?
Has anybody actually had cashback for bill payments?0 -
I applied for the Amazon credit card on 10/15/2009 but haven't had any e-mail correspondence whatsoever. Has anyone else?0
