Thanks OP for starting this thread :D

Like a few of you here, a couple years ago I gave up a lifelong habit of biting my nails and have turned into a bit of a nail varnish junkie :o

Through lot of trial and error, I found that I'm a die-hard OPI girl. Not only are the colours fab, but they were the only ones that stayed on for at least a week time after time. I also like the brush, it's got a nice long handle that's easier for me to control, and the brush itself covers my whole nail with one stroke. I heartily recommend their Nail Envy for anyone whose nails are weak from biting - mine are so strong now it's hard to believe they belong to me at times

I've had a love/hate relationship with Nails Inc. At first, colour kept on chipping at the drop of a hat. These days I can get them to last a week, but am not as crazy about the colours. And the brush is stumpy and fiddly.

I love No 7 colours, but they've been relegated to my toes as can't keep them from chipping after 24 hours.

E.L.F. also does a matte top coat, which is pretty good for £1.50. Actually all their polishes are pretty good,
    and the new accessorize range.

Another ELF fan here. I bought a bottle of the matte finisher earlier this month.

I've tried it once, on top of some Metal Madness, and it was weird; one coat on the left hand and absolutely nothing happened. Looked away for a second and as I looked back I could see the polish changing from glossy to matt. Very strange to watch.

My sister is a nail polish junkie and her nails always look immaculate. She has used OPI for years, but recently tried Leighton Denny from QVC and is now a great fan. He has some lovely colours and a good range of nail and hand care too. His sets would make a lovely gift (for me !)

Do you get the Seche Vite from QVC as well ? I like the sound of it and would like to try it.

Yes i got the Seche Vite from QVC. It is definitely worth giving a try. Also if you like Leighton Denny try and get a bottle of a colour called Butterfly Wings. It looks amazing on its own and is a sort of pinkie/blue shimmer. But if you put it over other colours it changes the colours and looks amazing - gives you a whole new set of colours.

I'll second that. Butterfly Wings looks stunning over black polish.

I can see my new years resolution (the one I was going to make) about cutting down on unnecessary spending going out the window.....

I'm going to have to google Butterfly Wings.....

I'm a OPI Nail Envy convert too, mum bought me the original and the matte of this for Christmas, as my nails will suffer once bubs arrives (they did last time!!)

I currently have it over one called Amazing Grey which came in a french set from QVC - now looks like a gorgeous steely blue/purple.
