I stumbled across a water marbling tutorial on youtube a few months ago and I love it. Colette is the water marbling queen...

I had my nails painted today with ORLY, and it seemed to go on easily. It's really pretty, and I'll see if it survives a day at work tomorrow. I may even do a pic later.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I'm after a Nubar one, Peacock Feathers. Just waiting to find it a bit cheaper on eBay. That and Nfu Oh 51. They will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine.0 -
I got peacock feathers on ebay for about £5 inc shipping, it's such a divine colour!0

Does anyone use a nail treatment to make them stronger, longer, stop peeling etc? I use OPI's Nail Envy and Pro-Strong's fluoride/calcium treatments and my nails are in reasonable nick, but I'd like to get them even stronger if poss. I've looked at the Sally Hansen range but I'm confused with all the choices.
Also I bought one of those buffer/shine blocks but I have no idea if it's worth doing - what are the benefits ?
Thanks

I buff my nails once a week, keeps them smooth and helps the nail varnish adhere better. I think you get a more professional look if you buff them.
Re treatments, I have used Nail Envy and it's very good but for my nails Nailtiques is even better. I use their Formula 2 as a base coat, it stops my nails peeling. I know what you mean about the Sally Hansen range, there are so many different ones. I guess you need to work out what your nail problems are. Are they dry/brittle? Soft/bendy? Peeling?0 -
I just bought a models own nailvarnish from asos, I'm quite excited to try it!
It's Champagne and it's beautiful and ridiculously shiny but still classy, possibly my new favourite!
Just so you know guys I'll finish comiling tomorrow, my heads still a wee bit sore from last night
Hope you all had a fab new year:beer:War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -
