Not that I'm encouraging but there is a 4 piece kit in Last Clicks at the mo : 229644 that has Vamp in it. Also has one of my favourites I Love Juicy in it. I never thought I would wear an orange coloured lacquer until I got this in another kit.

    I didn't succumb ! Had a result today though.

I mentioned that colour to my sis on Saturday and when I popped round this morning she had 6 of her "reds" lined up for me. I brought 3 home to try out properly but at the moment the winner is "blackberry" by Estee Lauder (she's got expensive taste too, her husband quakes in fear when she and I go shopping together) :T:T:T

I'll do my nails tomorrow while watching Dawn Bibby then post a pic.

Hmm, still got the 3 for 2 offer on No 7 in Boots. Might have to get some...

I really liked Oyster and Milan, but they are quite similar. Love Salsa too, but might be a bit bright, I really want something I can wear to the office whuch won't look over the top... The teal was nice, but very dark and not exactly subtle! Hopefully I can get a friend to go with me tomorrow and help me choose :)

Also still need the Sally Hansen top coat and some more french tip guides - aargh, so tempting to spend!
You can get french tip guides in poundshops a lot cheaper than Boots

I had a look in one of the poundshops in town the other day and couldn't see any, annoyingly. I've bitten the bullet and ordered some in bulk from e-bay, so we'll see what they are like... :)

I'm a bit more wary about buying polishes or top coats from e-bay, though!

Has anyone used Models Own Golden Peach?

It looks so prett in the bottle, but I don't know if it might look strange on nails:eek:

    Hi,
Glad to know there are other fellow nail addicts out there.:T

New to this thread, but had to see if anyone else had Opi Black Shatter? I bought the set with Serena Williams' green and then Black Shatter over the top. It shatters on the nail leaving a broken effect, its fab!Cant post a pic but if you You Tube you will see it. It works over any polish, and someone on another thread said that Barry M do a version as well (much cheaper!)

    My favourites are
Opi Dulche du Leche - expensive looking nude opaque
    Chanel - Rouge Noir
Illamasqua - Wink a light opaque lilac.

Love the Illamasqua lilac, expensive but gorgeous.

I haven't tried the OPI Black Shatter but I have the Barry M Nail Effects black shatter and it's brilliant. Quite thick and gloopy but you don't have to be perfect with the application. The effect isn't to everyone's tastes but I really like it and it's £3.95 (I think, correct me if I'm wrong!) so a far sight cheaper than the OPI version.

Well, went shopping with my friend, and now have two No. 7 Stay Perfect polishes (Oyster and Salsa), a No.7 Speed Dry varnish (Iced Mocha) and the Sally Hanson top coat :D

Now I just need to decide which one to try first! :rotfl:
