If I had to give a single piece of advice it would be to diversify.
Even the rocket scientists at the hedge funds discovered to their cost. That using to correlation to eradicate risk doesn't work. If all factors are pointing in the same direction there's absolutely nothing you do to protect your position from heading downwards.0 -

If I was living the DaVinci code I would have to keep telling myself that leaping out of a helicopter with just a raincoat as a parachute will provide a soft landing.
