Toots.. I'll go do the new fred now so you can go to bed early if you need to and are not waiting for me to get my act together!! Freja is laid shouting on the floor having found her voice.

I am really pleased with myself at the moment - the decorations are down, packed away and back in their home in the loft, that is behind doors in DS1's bedroom (with a bit of help from DS1). I can't remember ever having managed that before.

Have also hoovered LR, but still need to finish tidying and deep cleaning. Not tonight though. Tea first, and then work. I'm going to miss joining in with this thread properly until February half-term, but needs musst. I've got plans for 2011 and they require that I actually follow my lists, rather than just write them. I will be around until tomorrow night, though, so I'll see you on the new thread. I'm off into the kitchen now. x

Thanks for everyones kind words. xxxx

    I have 4 girls aged 16, 8, 6, 3 and a boy 2. They are good kids.. usually!

I have been to view the house again and definately re-motivated. Been flying through the kitchen and getting those cupboards started when kids are in bed.

Floors washed- half the bedroom... I need to move the furniture back when they dry to do the other half, landing and bathroom (which was disgusting, obviously hadn't been done for ages :o). No point in doing the study floor at the moment as I want to have a real clear out in here.

So, off downstairs to hoover and light the fire. And confirm tomorrow's walk with my brother...

Well I've had a pretty good clean up for the new year... need to get in on the de cluttering act again as it all builds up when your not looking.

Last things to do before the new week is to swish and swipe bathroom and mop the kitchen floor.

Has anyone got any recommendations as to where I can get different coloured micro fibre clothes as I want to have separate ones for bathroom kitchen and general house?

I got mine in the supermarket - they all seem to have them. They were packs of 2 and I got one blue, one yellow, one pink and one green. HTH

Skylight – thank you for explaining, you didn’t need to! I think with some people they see the words “HA and more than 1 child” and automatically assume “person sat on bum expecting others to pay for them”. When it is the very small minority who do that. You go sweetie! And very best of luck with your move. (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
