any chance we can start an mse breeding programme?

    happy new year everyone.

bad week i'm afraid (as far as cleaning is concerned) OH brought home the lurgy before xmas, by xmas eve DS was flat out with 'flu and i have a heavy cold plus combined with loooooong shifts at work (its a pub so i have had seasonal extra hours) a heavy dose of CBA has set in. I've done the daily essentials like washing up and have had to keep on top of DS' bedding (for obvious reasons) and the washing but otherwise the house is untidy again.

can't wait to get back to some cleaning again tomorrow (omg did i actually say that )

dunno if i'm brave enough to declutter my wadrobe(s) though, i get very attached to my stuff. i had a pang the other day about a blouse i threw out three years ago and it was very out of date and quite hideous.

  • Pigpen - 9??!!! How do you get anything done at all ever? Major hats off to you, lady. Well, all of you with children. I'd be the worst mum ever.

Well, fake tree is down and I've managed to cram it into the Christmas cupboard this year, which saves space in the spare room. I'm going to try and make our spare room a proper room this year. Rather than a dumping ground. Was about to go and vacuum upstairs but DH has retired to bed as apparently he was "overcome" in supermarket.

Have also filed all outstanding bills and paperwork and e-mailed about our insurances (because I can't find paperwork for any of them). WM on and can't put off leaves any longer!

Livingroom floor been found and hoovered. Late lunch now on and hopefully Rhys will go for a nap after that. Kids watching a movie so gives me a chance to get on with DD's room. :D

Play-dou also been picked out from being stuck on the inside of the rad, flipping play-dou i hate that stuff.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Bedroom hoovered, and all upstairs bins downstairs. Like Froddy I guess I'd better go out while its still light, then carry on with making the bedroom presentable. Floor needs washing, window frame and windows need wiping to get the mould off, the rest of the room needs dusting and I need to sort out my new bedside lamps. Bottom of the wardrobe has been cleaned, so all shoes are in laundry baskets in the spare room. I'm wondering whether I should carry on and empty the wardrobe and wash that down while I'm at it?

Wow - everyone's getting so much done today. All I've managed to do so far is start the joint in the SC, breakfast and lunch, and after 3 hours  just about all lego models are built and I've got a good idea what's missing. DS2 enjoys playing with them as he's never seen them before - they used to by DS1's. I'm just finishing my coffee and then I'm going to make a start on the Christmas stuff. It would come down tomorrow, anyway (before work on Tuesday), so I may as well get it done and clean the LR while I'm at it. WM, TD and DW first, though.

I've got the washing back in now. As I thought it's not dry but it smells lovely and fresh and when the heating comes on the house should smell nice too!

Bedding stripped and washed and replaced
Macaroni cheese made for tea and lots more teas in future, there's a lot!

Been for a hard work 10k run - not that great due to feeling a little unfit after having this cold for the last few weeks and all the chocolate and sweets have eaten the last few weeks! Hmmm try a 5k in the week after work and then some yoga to stretch out a bit more and see how another 10k goes next weekend

General tidy up and not much else really to report. Better stretch my legs off now by walking the dog!
