  • Quillon honey what a !!!!!! - I would try to get an appt with your solicitor tomorrow - at least speak to him and tell him whats going on - its bullying and harrassment- if he is threatening to use this carp against you then you need to have it documented for your side as it happens - pigpen is keeping note of everything about her KH - he will probably not expect you to do this so might come as a huge slap in the face.
as the others have said he is most likely trying to wind you up but in his presence dont let him see it - be ever so gracious and sweet it will annoy him more

    - if the passport is a no-go then can you arrange some extra help for your Mum - maybe he could sleep at hers but be out during some of the time with friend's family until he goes to school - can someone else apart from GF take him to and fro school - if he is not going to be at his while you are away - have a letter ready to post before you fly to the school advising them what has happened in case LO is upset but stating that LO is not to go to GF or his Dad in any circumstances - tell all your friends what has happened and ask for their help - there is no disgrace on your part and it will show the court what a wide circle of supportive friends you have. make sure if you are leaving LO behind that you spend lots of time with him before you go and how much you love him - phone him everyday if its appropriate and wont upset him - work out how many sleeps it is until you return so he can count them with your Mum.
huge squishy (((hugs))) angel - there is no way on this earth that you could be described as a bad mum.

LW a terrible tragedy but it looks like they have the man which is a blessing in some ways - sad that it is someone in his partner's family - she must be devasted on both counts.

well done to the ones getting their ironing done xx

hex what about a little hire car for the time involved - most hire companies do special terms at the hols - 2 years ago I had a 1.6 estate for 4 days for £36 it was less than half price - they dont want their cars to be idle!

Triker (((hugs))) for you both - poor DD I hope its not too long before they make her more comfortable.

ok back to bed before someone shouts at me.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

I would do my hardest to make sure Jake could come along, is your OH ok about that. Can you get Jake added to your holiday - flights?? accommodation??

He doesn't have to be ok about it.. he can't do a thing about it other than whine.. an ex cannot stop you taking your children out of the country for up to 2 weeks (or it might be 4.. think it is 2 though) at a time..

  • Hmm just polished off my 3rd clementine - and had 3 yesterday, really craved for them too! And shamefully I'm not a big eater of fruit normally? It's probably my body craving for vitamin c after illnesses :)

  • I went to see Gulliver's Travels today which was good fun!

Thanks for all the sticks and threats for the black dog - it's still hanging around but that's usual for me at the thought of a new year, etc. :o

LW - such awful news - thoughts and prayers for you and all his family and friends x

Triker - gentle hugs for you and DD

Helen - glad your dad is getting sorted; fingers crossed he's home soon

    onestep - welcome back!

Quillion - no ideas, sorry, but a hug is heading your way

Mumof2 - so pleased you had a successful appointment; sounds like you have a great GP and a lovely DH

Congrats on the new babies - my friend had a little girl this morning too. So pleased as 4 years ago she had an ectopic pregnancy and was then told she would be unlikely to have children. She now has a beautiful 2 year old boy and her new baby girl :j

Toots are you feeling any better this evening hun?

There were feathers under DS3's bed again whilst I was making it so I've hoovered upstairs aswell now. DS3 has had enough of Woody's presents.

Just waiting for WM to finish and then off to bed to read a bit of my book.

DS1 has ortho early tomorrow morning so no flying until after that.

we went for a sleepover on Christmas day and everything DS took with him went in the wash basket - including the still neatly folded and clearly unworn stuff. So it was popped back in his drawers promptly! And HE's 17 )

Sympathies with you and julieJim nothing makes me madder than seeing recently ironed clothes in the wash basket:mad:
Bloody UPS:mad: Waiting on my bag being delivered, saw a UPS van drive past my flat and the driver looked in our direction while sitting in traffic. I then checked my tracking info and it said customer not in on 1st attempt a 2nd attempt will be made with tomorrows date:mad: Phoned them and the girl basically said 'what do you want me to do about it?' Erm, how about phone the driver to get it sorted! Oh i can't do that.

Phoned them back and spoke to someone helpful who is trying to sort it out. I wouldn't mind so much but i'm not going to be in for most of tomorrow and i have waited in today specifically for it. Grrrr.

I feel your pain! My boots were delivered to the side gate that my property does not have!

Quillion I understand your distress. Stay cool and do everything in your power to get DS a passport. XH will get his comeuppance in the future.

Toots - hope you shake the chest infection quickly. Rest up and get well soon.

Still struggling with pain in my broken hand. Really getting fed up with being unable to do everyday things.

DH has now learned how to do bras up:rotfl::cool::rotfl:

Quillion, just a suggestion, would it be worth speaking to your ex's girlfriend and saying how worried you are about the situation re your son and what her thoughts are about it all?....Just a thought. xxx
