Evening ladies,

Have skim read the thread......Toots look after yourself, and the same to all of the other flyladies suffering.
Congrats on the birth of the handbag G&B and the delivery of the baby JennyJewell - or should that be the other way round?
Dusty - I'm in for the challenge. Mine are very much like Vanilla's and include learning how to put eye make up on! (I jest not!?!) and learning how to use my sewing machine.

Evening all
I'm pages and pages behind so I'm just going to post for now! Today I've cleaned the bathroom/toilet and did a load of washing. Then I took down the tree and put everything away except the close family cards which can stay up a couple more days. When DH is here tomorrow it will go up in the loft. Then I dusted and vacuumed through downstairs.0 -

Stamps feet. Not fair this is too far for me and this was my idea and I'm missing out. Stamps feet again :rotfl:Evening ladies,
Dusty - I'm in for the challenge. Mine are very much like Vanilla's and include learning how to put eye make up on! (I jest not!?!) and learning how to use my sewing machine.
I did a one day course at the college to learn how to use mine, it was very useful.
Been to town, driving DH's manual car for the first time in 8 years (mine is an auto). Stocked up on crackers, cards, tags for next year.
Mum has just rang and doesn't feel well so I need to go and get DS3, good job I drove the car earlier as I now need to go to the next town :eek:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Back from shop with my mother.. got a couple of tshirts for DS2 a hoodie for OH and a top to put away for DD3 to grow into.. I got loads of bits for next christmas for the girls from boots and a cardy and trousers for Miss Pest.. and next years christmas cards for the small pinks.. and a new sonic screwdriver for DS3's birthday.. he will be 12 in March but he loves them and I am getting him an xbox game so he will be done then. DS2 is having a new monitor for the pc when I get some dosh in bank next week, which is when I am having a new router too. The fish need a new light as well, their went pop.
Pasta in for tuna pasta.. so I best go deal with that!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Then set one up mid week, term time, school hours, North of London and I will happily come and play once the car is fixed.
Dippy - thanks, DH has agreed a re-con and them doing the clutch on the basis that I should then have some confidence in the car again, and be able to keep it for another couple of years which makes sense. The biggest problem is not having the car back till late next week at the earliest, and no courtesy car.
I cleaned the kitchen and moved the recycling about. DS1 and I made some scones - fruit ones and cheese ones that turned out well. Thought enviously of Dusty and the Aga at this point. I'm with you Pollybear, Pages and Pages behind with the fred.
I am sending you all lots of love and huggles. Big ones especially to Helen and LW you have had some tough news.
Helen, pleased your dad is improving I know personally how much pain gallstones and related problems can be so at least he is getting them dealt with.
Lamewolf - Thats horrific news, I know its a cliche but really what is this world coming to.
I too had a nasty shock last night. Got a call from my bank telling me my card had been cloned and someone had tried to spend £450 in an electronics store. Thank fully it was declined by my bank as it was an unusually high transaction so they had called me to confirm it was me. It was not. So they have cancelled my card and are replacing it. Ever so scary though, thankfully I have a credit card I can use until then but it makes me worry, when and where could it have happened etc.
It is also a pain as I am trying to get a refund for some returned substitution items from my Asda delivery which have not been refunded properly so it is complicating that too.
Have done no flying today at all other than a trip to Te$co if that counts. Got myself a nice DVD player in the sale with my Chrimbo money and some good bargains. Reduced sausages and half price gammon joints too.
Anyway, time I got something to eat, this typing about food is making me hungry..
Love, Hugs and Spoons
