My car needs a new gear box :( and they 'might as well' replace the clutch at the same time . I am assuming thousands rather than hundreds  (famous last words). Dippy/Valli - the mechanic spoke to me and I haven't the foggiest what he said after replace the clutch when the thought of all those £ notes went into my head and hysteria starting rising. DH had to ring him back :o.

Time for meal planning and an immediate end to any unnecessary spending. *switches the heating off*

Kitchen is a tip, I am going to make myself do HHC on it at 14.15.

Toots I have a huge bruise on the back of my leg, stop throwing things at me. (freak Mudbath syle accident with tins of cat food....)

Kaz - which phone is it - make and model? where did you get it from? Contract or PAYG?

It was a SE Spiro was £49.99 with the £10 credit on Orange PAYG. I didnt want the credit but had to buy it as it was to replace his contract phone which has 5 months left of a 24m contract and was just going to swap the sim over. Thats why I didnt spend a lot on it. Just expected it to last at least a bit longer than 4 days before it went wrong. Fingers crossed its working again now will text him to make sure. Bought in Orange shop.

Dusty, i love gardening but really don't have a clue as to what would be best where. This year will be the year that it's put to good use. :D

    Lamewolf thats just awful. xx

Doctor's appointment done and i think i've annoyed the doctor enough. :rotfl:He's told hubby that he really needs to balance out this year and keep stress well down. He also said he badly needs a routine to do this (i've been telling him that for years). So i need a plan for hubby so i think i'll get us to sit down tonight when kids are in bed and work out what will suit us both. :D

Lunch been done and table cleared, dw back on again. Rhys now snoozing and boys suppose to be tidying but i might kick them outside for awhile, a bit of fresh air would do them good.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Shattered. Sorted out clothes in my room today. The Wardrobe is dismantled and ready for the skip and only generated 4 bin bags! Thats enough until this evening when I am taking down the decs, not putting on any more washing today as I can't face it (although Mt Washmore is now more like Biggin Hill). Coffee and chocolate now I think, but I'll go back and cross this off my other post and read through the others here.

Oh good grief. It's only 2.30. Its dark here; I've got the lights on. I thought it was later than that!

    Hi everyone,
Back from Perth and thank you for all the good wishes to DH. He got on fine. We'll wait for the results and see. It was a spinal MRI.... I thought they were actually going to look at the foot that was causing problems, but maybe that comes later. We'll see. He's also waiting for an electrical conductivity test. At least they seem to be looking at all the options.
Got all the shopping in for New Year, so all set there. Went for a lovely lunch at the Anglers in Guildton on the way home, so now I've finished playing and off to sort a list or two!
Lamewolf What a shock for you. The poor family must be feeling awful.
Helenjelly Glad to hear they were able to do something with your dad, if not remove the actual stone. Fingers crossed things will go a bit more smoothly for him soon.
Dustykitten I'd love to join the aims list. There are a few things I am doing for myself but I'd like to incorporate them into my routine. My yoga, which I should practice every day, but in reality tend not to even though it makes me feel wonderful and is good for my arthritiky achingness, my Italian because we are off to Italy again in March/April and I want to be able to converse in more than the basics, and I would also like to aim for finishing the book/knitting/sewing I've started before starting another one! Will put a list together in more coherent terms shortly.

Mmmm bit of a day so far.

I've slept about 4 hours due to chest horribleness and headache....urgh.

Anyway then DD2 to podiatrist, she has teenage bunions, stage 2/3 , no P.E./sports.... swimming and cycling will be ok, foot supports ordered and an appointment for the foot surgeon on way. She will need surgery but hopefully not for about 5 years ish...it's all about her pain management.
Poor sausage hasn't said a word about how much her feet have been hurting her for months, then one day just 'mentioned it'...:(.

Unfortunately for DD2 that's dance class off the table, she loves dancing too...not quite sure how we're going to manage her 'keeping off her feet' stuff as she's really an active kid.

Anyway, we're all good, the lack of high heels is no issue as I'm a stickler for decent shoes anyway and have never given time of day to 'fashion' shoes...so that's something already in our favour.

So other than that been to Lush and bought some bathing goodies in the sale then home to rest.

Need to put some stuff in the dryer, then take DD1back to her's later...and that's about it for today I think.

NYE is looking a bit dire at the mo, I may pack hubby off to his friends so he can enjoy himself.
