Mmmm bit of a day so far.

I've slept about 4 hours due to chest horribleness and headache....urgh.

Anyway then DD2 to podiatrist, she has teenage bunions, stage 2/3 , no P.E./sports.... swimming and cycling will be ok, foot supports ordered and an appointment for the foot surgeon on way. She will need surgery but hopefully not for about 5 years ish...it's all about her pain management.
Poor sausage hasn't said a word about how much her feet have been hurting her for months, then one day just 'mentioned it'...:(.

Unfortunately for DD2 that's dance class off the table, she loves dancing too...not quite sure how we're going to manage her 'keeping off her feet' stuff as she's really an active kid.

    .

Aww Triker the poor wee lamb. Huge sympathy for her, and for you too with your chest horribleness and headache. I don't think this cold damp weather is helping anyone. xxx

  • (hugs) to all poorlies - add my DS in again, very pale and not eating, so now tucked up watching the TV.

Useful day so far, list looking better,

Look at bikes (DS buying a new one) before checking online.
    Wash car
    Cook ham (cooking along nicely)
Make scones (and anything else I can think of with soured milk)
Pay bills (some done, rest scheduled)

Right, best get on..HHC at 15.30?

Dusty - getting into a routine with things like washing and ironing would please me no end and make life so much simpler and then I could use the extra time to go to the allotment.

Triker and Toots - hugs for both of you, chest infections are horrid and can make you feel awful especially with the pain from coughing and also the not being able to sleep cos of the bloomin coughing makes you feel carp too, hope you both feel better very soon.
Triker DD2 - poor girlie - so painful - hugs and happy feet vibes stomping there way to you

I have just cleaned DD's room and am half way through DS's room but I thinkI'll finish his tomorrow so he can't see me taking [throwing!!] stuff out

Going to tidy our room now - getting rid of junk thats on top of the wardrobe - charity shop visit soon to get rid of it all

    Toots - Get well soon!!!
    Tuesday...
HHI - Going to leave this until DD comes home and I tackle her laundry.

    Wednesday

    Change some of the bedding!

    Thursday

Quick whizz over the downstairs with the vac and mop
    Bins emptied and cleaned out
[STRIKE] Wash coats ready for back to school next week and get homework/bags done.[/STRIKE] - Already done :D Will however chuck the coat/hat/scarf/gloves that DD took with her in as they probably stink
Wipe over cooker and kitchen units

    Personal list:
[STRIKE]Set Budget for 2011[/STRIKE] - going to sit down with DD and go through what I'm proposing. She may only be 10 this year BUT she's got to understand that money doesn't grow on trees and things are going to be tough for a while until I can get the debts paid off. Also need to discuss pocketmoney with her - she can have it one of two ways, she earns it or she gets given it and pays for EVERYTHING for her out of it. Personally I'd rather she earns it so we'll come up with a wages level with bonuses ;)
Check on OU course stuff - letter came today. £91 for a resubmission :D I rang them to register over the phone (I want to apply for the financial support since I'm entitled to it and its not an option when registering online) and they're closed until the 4th! :(
    [STRIKE] Print out calender [/STRIKE]
Washing - [STRIKE]towels &[/STRIKE] whatever DD bring back.
Wash up - 3/4 done, got the food processor soaking and have a very manky frying pan which needs a minor miracle on it (liver stuck to it last night) still to do.

I need to get bills etc written up in my diary & on my calender. Might as well since I have about an hour before DD gets home. Thats if she hasn't fallen asleep on the bus - Ex just text me saying she's nodding off again so needs an early night :rotfl::rotfl: She's going to be exhausted but tomorrow night will fight to stay up until gone midnight :rotfl:

My car needs a new gear box :( and they 'might as well' replace the clutch at the same time . I am assuming thousands rather than hundreds  (famous last words). Dippy/Valli - the mechanic spoke to me and I haven't the foggiest what he said after replace the clutch when the thought of all those £ notes went into my head and hysteria starting rising. DH had to ring him back :o.

    Hex2,
don't worry too much, it could be worse.

Ask the guy for a quote for a "reconditioned" 'box, with prices for with and without the transfer box. You might be able to use your own transfer box, with just some new gaskets.
The main price is for labour, the Landy box is big and very, very heavy.

Been quite productive today, done LOADS of ironing, cleaned the kitchen. Attacked several hotspots and done 3 loads of washing.
