Any views on keeping/not keeping xmas/birthday/special occasion cards you have been sent?
I keep cards from those closest to us and so glad I do because I have the last ones DH sent. Every now and again I go through and ditch some more, ie I get rid of ones Mum and Dad sent in previous years to replace with current ones iyswim.Oooh guess what?

Hi all
I'm new to this thread, though a longish time MSE-er. I'd love to join in with the hope that you might all be able to give me the collective boot up the backside that might make my house rather more orderly than it always is. I start the year full of good intentions and lose them all by mid-January!
On the plus side for a tidier house I don't have children. On the downside, a husband and two cats contribute adequately to the mess!0 -

:xmastree:to welcome you and make sure that you're added to the list: also, you'll get an email with all sorts of info to help.
(Toots, could you send me the welcome PM as well? Ta. No, I haven't put it in a safe place or decluttered it:D)
Laundry going well, no more space to hang anything, not a lot of ironing to be done I'm happy to say! Could be time to consider decluttering a couple of films off the hard disk recorder.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Evening, had a very lazy day:D
Need a little ingenious flylady help, i have posted a thread in the marriages/families board here if anyone has any input that would be fabulous. I know how inventive you ladies can be.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
gnb for the tights issue i dont know if this is at all possible, but a bit of velcro maybe attached to the brace and the other part on her clothes so that things stay where they are. not sure how old she is but that might help with keeping her modesty.
what i find with me is that most of the clothes on the high street are hipsters and i have a long body so tend to buy a size bigger or buy the "tall" range and take things up or take them in at the sides to make them fit properly.
dont know if that helps at all.0 -

Thanks, she is 7 on sunday. Also teeny tiny unfortunately, wears sizes 2-3 or 4-5 generally:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hi all:hello:
Hope everyone's had a good christmas. Thanks to FCC for the thread and a couple of very manageable days lists for the start of the week.
I'm back to lurking this week (and back to work tomorrow) but just popped in to say I have completed the ironing challenge, it's all done:j! Pity I could do with putting another wash load on!
Not had a chance to read back but hugs sticks and spoons for those in need.
