Sorry about your friend Vanilla, happy birthday Kezlou0 -
Vanilla such sad news, your friend's family are in my thoughts. I saw on the bbc website about water in NI, glad yours is back on now.
Feeling much better, it was just stir craziness so a bit of time out of the house helped no end.
Kids watching cricket highlights so I'm off to bed with my book again in a minute' I'm rereading Rebecca's Tale and as my memory is so dire I can't remember any of it.
DH was in fits watching the Good Life - I'd always aspired to be Barbara but DH thinks that I'm almost completely Margo (especially when she refused to pay the bit of her council tax for the drain outside her house because it was blocked - stop sniggering Toots I can hear you and hope you have spat tea all over your keyboard:p)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well I got the box of 'saved' cards out - looked through it and added special ones from this year :rotfl:
Glad I'm not the only one who can't get rid of certain things0 -
Evening
Am I being really mean if I start to take down some of the decs tomorrow??
Dusty - I'm starting to feel stir crazy too!!
I've a day planned tomorrow of game playing with the kiddies - may take DD to her other Nan for the afternoon if she gets too stroppy about not winning every game!
Dad is going to have his Gall Bladder sorted tomorrow so hopefully that will be him on the mend although I do think his has taken a massive toll on him, fingers crossed that its a success
Greenbee - good luck for tomorrow
Vanilla - so sorry to hear about your news - hugs
Toots - hope you are ok, did your DB manage to get over to you, sleep well

Dusty it is awful over here, fighting going on in lidl over the last of the bottled water. Thankfully our's is back on for now. I'm just waiting on the burst pipes to start in the yard.
My sister and BIL had to move out of their house because the pipes froze up, even the toilet bowl water was froze. They've moved in with BIL's parents for now.
Thanks everyone for the hugs and thoughts, i still can't believe it. Poor poor family. He's actually a cousin to BIL. Poor BIL also has his mother in hospital with a bad leg ulcer(sp) as well. Just not an easy christmas.:(
Right i better go to bed before rhys gets up for his little chat.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
