    Hi All
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, mine was great, caught up with family, made them all breakfast, toys everywhere as usual, dinner was perfect and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, DH was a fab help on the day, although I had done a timetable so he knew what was going out/in etc at what time if I wasn't there and I also left him in charge of the BM and his french sticks were gorgeous :D I drank WAY too much bubbly and fell asleep around 9pm :o !!!
I have been concentrating on the washing and ironing the past few days and nothing else really, I have done 6 loads  only two more to go before basket is empty :j I am very, very fussy about my washing :o
Thanks to all at FCC as usual for taking the time out to do the lists etc, special love as always to Lady-L, Toots & Diva xxx

VANILLA thats terrible and i speak unfortunately from experience. His poor poor family. And poor him for thinking things were that bad. My thoughts are with you and his family. xxx

Vanilla - sad news about the old boyfriend - my thoughts are with you and his family
Helenjelly - positive vibes for your Dad and his op tomorrow - hope it all goes as smooth as a mill pond and that he's up and about soon

Well, just watched Overboard with Goldie Hawn - a dreadfully corny movie really but a sort of really trashy chicken soup for the soul.

Off to bed in a moment. Sleep well people

  • Hi all

Toots, thanks for your message. I will aim to get myself in gear! I'm going for the ironing challenge. I've done everything bar what's been washed today and what will need to be washed tomorrow. Admittedly haven't put it away, but that's mostly because I know that involves finding coat hangers!

Sorry to hear your news, vanilla. What a horrible shock.

Just revisiting the Goodies and making a list for tomorrow.

Pigpen thats a very different present to get.

    We thought so.. :D

Soappie.. a star in the sky.. it is very lovely of her... You don't actually get a star.. they send a certificate saying you have dibs on a certain tar and gve a map of which one.. i think the bunkum said there are about 200,000 and you get one random one or something.. so a bllion people will 'share' the same one.. and of course it is not recognised by any scientific body.. but it was a lovely thought.

Soappie it's years since I've watched that, agreed very corny but the sort you can watch without any thought what so ever so I can see the 'point' in that way, like soap operas and trashy day time TV lol
Vanilla life can be so cruel :( those poor babies xx
Pigpen maybe stick with knitting as it's safer dd
    Greenbee hope all goes ok

Well we've had cheese and biscuits for supper after only having pasta and meatballs all day, so I'm now fizzing inside as I've had too much cheese. I was healthy and had grapes too. Oh and some caramelised onion chutney I bought when we were on holiday that reminds me of holidays. Cheese and biscuits usually finishes Christmas off for me' as it's usually a Christmas day evening or boxing day thing so felt like it's done now.

Anyway today I've parcelled up bag of paper, plastics and cardboard for recycling. Loads of it. Some foodie waste like bones, peelings etc to go out with the general chucking too. Made some brownies and cookies. Tidied some of the kitchen. Done some laundry. Tidied some of the bathroom. Decided I am rearranging the kitchen on Thursday (once my hangover settles I will have as out for friends birthday tomorrow) switched some money around to cover bills, bagged all the bits of decorations up to go in the festive bag (DP will be request to put them in tomorrow) Cleared out 2 boxes of stuff that have not been touched since we move (Oct 2009) which was mostly for the bin. Cleaned some grotty pans. Cleared some clutter from the kitchen and some broken glasses, plates, storage boxes.

Think that's about all I got done, really need to finish that bathroom tomorrow and the play room with Mam staying. Kitchen could do with finishing too. Anyway shall leave it at that for now, love to you all xx
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning All

Nothing planned for today although DD's BR may be on the menu as you can't actually get in it!

Must get some ironing done as well as some more washing and possibly a trip into town - not the same one as I went to yesterday - just the local one.

Hugs Vanilla - that's such sad news.

Helen - hope it doesn't take long for your dad to get back on his feet again.

    Greenbee - thinking of you.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
