thanks so much pinkmami, just ordered the cricket set for £1.24.
brilliant price, my son is seven and is invited to lots of birthday parties from friends at school, if I don't have a present in stock, it usually means a tenner in an envelope. This will go into my stock cupboard, even if i keep it till the summer! many thanks xxx:bdaycake:
  • Mind if I join in?

Been buying odds and sods for a while now. Got some seed growing kits from Sainsburys and Wilkinsons, both stores had between 50-75% off! Got x2 grow your own tomato kits for 62p each and they are pretty decent kits for the price, not sure I could even make them myself for much cheaper considering what is inside them.

Also got a pretty mug and photo frame from Paperchase, again on sale. Got a rough list forming in my head of whose getting what so I know who else to buy for. Luckily my BF has already picked his present 6 months early! He's not getting it til Dec 25th though.

The plan this year is to make chutney for all the adults. I usually make red onion marmalade and tomato chutney and if I give a jar of each with a cracker assortment to each adult/couple that'll mean I don't have to spend a fortune or worry what to buy each of them as they all get the same. I've been saving jars since January!!

Hello all - I love reading how organised people are and what they are buying ;D

I usually don't start thinking about christmas until after DD's birthday (next week) but have got going a little earlier - only one or two bits in so far but with a number of people to buy for you can never be too organised!

A few people laughed at me last year, but when that snow set in in November right through till Christmas and they couldn't get their shopping.......they soon stopped laughing :D

I have started making my Christmas Word Doc today - I keep notes who wants what and the cost so I can try and find it cheaper lol.

I will get loads ticked off in Sept (approx) when Tesco does the double points exchange, I've should get £100+ of 'free' stuff with my saved vouchers.:money::j

thank you chicky, didnt realize there was lego soap. my bf loves his lego which always comes in handy when my son gets lego that needs making up. so will maybe do him a lego themed hamper, now to wait for inspiration to hit me! got the basket for my son's nana but the lining wouldn't come up clean (was only 30p from cs) so used some material and sewn it on looks loads better now. think im going to do my mum and dad a michael buble concert hamper, they would like tickets but there is no way i can afford them this year (which thankfully they understand) so was going to get a concert dvd of him, a bottle of wine, some popcorn and chocolate. and maybe some of them headbopper things and a couple of michael buble t-shirts.
