I have a Poundland about 13 miles from me but its not that big so they might not stock them. The size you mention would be great. A bigger store in Holyhead might help me and probably the Wilko store too. Might have to find a morning to pop there!! cheers:beer:
  • Valli - I picked up one of those bags when they were a little more expensive (but still reduced). It has quite a wide flat base and is really sturdy, so I'll be using it to deliver Christmas presents in next year to individual people. Only snag is that because they're fibre optic when the battery is flat it can't be replaced (that I can see). When it can't be used like that anymore, I'll use it to store Christmas decorations in.

I picked up another 4 gift bags yesterday in the form of some more gifts received from friends. These will be carefully put inside another bag and stored until next year. It's going well so far and I feel ready for it. :)

I've got the cards and wrapping paper and some gift tags in the sales. I've made some gift tags from this years christmas cards so that should be enough.

Also got some present bows from sainsburys yesterday reduced to 44p from £1.99 and tree decorations for £1.49 reduced from £4.99 and 89p reduced from £2.49 so thats the tree sorted (it was a bit bare this year)

Moving on to the presents, we do advent angels at work so have picked up a couple of small gifts in the sales (both half price or less) Also bought a lovely gift boxed cup (for auntie) and an origami set (stocking filler for DS)
Feeling pleased with how it is going. I will be organised for next christmas whatever the weather.

Good luck everyone with gift buying in the sales.
