  • I cross stitched all my christmas cards, baked christmas, mince pies and stollens. As the fruit fell earlier in the year I prepared jams, chutneys and pickles and made a few hampers also as presents.

Everything was very well received and soon I will be collecting bits and pieces from old cards and ribbon etc ready for Christmas 2011 :rotfl:

Its great fun and saves a lot of time consuming trips round the shops looking for 'that present'

Where can you buy it? They are gorgeous!

I would tell you how my homemade present went down (only did one this year) but it hasn't been given yet, mainly due to weather!
  • I will definitely do Delia's christmas cake again as presents next year. I made my mum one and took one to work. The girls from work said it was the best christmas cake they had ever had, and round at my mums we had a "cake-off" with another she was given, although it was 50/50 as mine was too "alcoholy" according to some ha ha.

a basket of homemade soaps (lemon meringue pie, loofah soap, and jelly baby soaps, flannel cupcakes, mugs & snowman soup, and a gingerbread man kitchen sign

my mum delivers them as they are mainly for auntie i seldom see
seems everyone liked them, the only person i have spoken to so far has asked me to make 5 for her next year for her to give as presents
