Hey everyone hope you're all ok :)
Haven't been doing much stitching at the moment cos my hearts not really in it cos ive been a bit down :'(

My man's been lovely the last couple of weeks, really affectionate which is rather out of character for him hes usually rather reticent about how he feels, have been so smiley about it, but the past few days he's been a bit moody - when I've asked him what's up he sys nothing hes just tired. BUT when i logged onto facebook this morning he's says he 'wishes he could just sleep his troubles away'
Have texted him asking what's up as i dunno what to do, i cant help him if he wont talk to me, but yet his mates on fb (who are almost all girls btw) seem to know whats up with him? If i ask him if its me he gets annoyed that I'm asking and tells me no - aaaaaaaaaaaaargh its making me so stressed! We're supposed to go out to dinner tonight to a big fancy meal (his treat as he said i deserve it for everything i've done for him) but worried that him being down will mean i end up nagging him about whats up n I'll spoil it grrrrr

sorry for the rant peeps just at a bit of a loss

We didn't get round the whole place because it was so busy and the younger ones were getting cranky but definitely going back another day. (Hubby and I might go by ourselves actually, get peace to actually look at things):D

Best thing is...it's a free day out :money::money::T

I sorted through my mags this morning and dug out all the xmas themed ones. So when I get bored of stitching the mouseloft kits, I can find something else festive to stitch :rudolf: :j

I have just been browsing on sew n so for a 60th themed birthday card - found nothing yet but did see this - card? but wonder whether this would be too big to fit in a card ? and whether this is too over the top ? I like simple easy to stitch designs..... what do you think ?

There must be something in the air making men act up at the moment. I ended up storming out last night & going for a late night walk after finding out for the 3rd time in a fortnight, my disgusting hubby had forgotten to flush the toilet.:mad::mad: I'm getting really sick of it and he doesn't seem to listen when I tell him how vile it is. Anyway, I wandered around the streets for a while until I calmed down. Saw a hedgehog outside our house, which was nice.
He's being extra nice today, and brought me a cup of tea when I was in the bath. Would much prefer it if he'd just remember not to do things that make me mad in the first place, though.

Did a little bit of stitching on my Dictionary Of Cakes yesterday. I am desperate to start a new kit/chart, but must actually finish something before I do. Got Princess Palace & DOC all gridded up & not sure how long you can leave the lines on the fabric before they no longer wash out. They were fine after 6 months when I stitched Dictionary of Bras, but I'm sure it's been almost a year with these 2 WIPs. At least. :o

Well although I don't live near Edinburgh it is nearer for me than London!! Soooo am def going to try plan a trip sometime soon to this new museum as I love things like that but we don't have these things near me in south Cumbria :( And freebies are all the better!! I could easily get a train up for a night with a friend so I think I need to get bribing :D
