How's Mr Hangover - have you made lots of noise and appropriate amounts of children jumping on his back yet?

i wish. he eventually moved off the sofa upstairs (to get his social life updated) and now running a bath. stuff paying bills etc i have the kids apparently who are driving me mad already!!

nice when you can do what you want isn't it.

  • I'm not sure what to say - I don't know how you put up with it really.

I left mine in bed this morning, with a list of jobs to do on the dining table. If it's not done when I get home, I won't make dinner. Simplez!

Bless 'em.... can't live with them, not allowed to bury them under the patio :D

lol TMIF i'd get the list thrown in my face!! I can't wait to go back to work and watch him struggle :rotfl: he's still not had the 2 on his own at home or out anywhere - except once when they were both asleep!!

brilliant the place they play pool is closed indefinatly as of this week so they are having to find a new place..... which is proving tricky.... I'm not laughing..... MUCH!!!!!!!

TEA... hmm that reminds me better get the bacon and pastry out the fridge to finish defrosting , gonna make a pie with sundays leftover chicken.

right ds1 playing on his own again, ds2 fed.... time to tackle paperwork again.

well past-impressions still claim it was posted 1st class on the 20th and has "gone missing in the post". so they are re-sending. however if it turns up can i let them know and they will send me a freepost envelope to return.

Am getting very fed up of my parcels going missing (esp after the quilt ordeal) and wondering if my postie a) doesn't bother to card all undelievered parcels. b) constantly delivers to wrong house who never admit it and give them back. or c) keeps em!

eta: don't know why they are only using 1st class as that only covers parcels up to £41.....youd expect a business to know that.

Chicky - sending you hugs. Not going to give you my opinion but I think you probably know what it is. Book yourself a day out with the girls, tell him just as you're going and leave the kids with him til tea time.

Ruth_honey - your Titanic is AMAZING!

Nykied - sorry, didn't realise you weren't in your late 20's. You are obviously just very lucky!!!

23rd & pm2326 - thanks for your ideas about nextdoor. Earlier today the little one was hanging over the fence screaming for me and I was in the house the whole time!!! Anyway, DH has decided we're buying some of that bamboo sort of screening and putting it across the fence to make it twice the height!! will let you know if it works!

Anyway - my news of the day I'VE FINISHED TITANIC!!! I know, I'm shocked too - it's only taken 14 years! Will post a pic tomorrow. Just sorting out my new project now. I'm going to do my Dimensions 'Purple Wizard' that was started in Feb 2000, might get this done in less than 14 years!

Right - we have a guest. One of DH mates so I don't feel too guilty about being on here bur suppose I should be sociable. Enjoy your evening.

It took 10 years to train !!!!!! - and we did split up in the middle for a bit. After all the hard work I've put in, I think I will keep him.... :)

He now does washing, hangs it out to dry, cooks joint of meat for dinner and picks me up from work - he forgot 2 things on the list (clean loo, hoover carpet) but he's only a beginner!

If I didn't leave lists, he'd watch tv, ride his motorbike and snooze all day :@
