I have a Tinkerbell one I could ;) if you like it - I bought it to stitch for my DD

    It's 4x4"

    Hi Louise,

Could I please have a ;) as my daughter loves Tinkerbell and has started to point out the letter G (her name is Grace) everywhere so this would be ideal.

    Thanks,

    Looking good :)
That is one I would most certainly like to do myself actually!
    I <3 Tigers!

I am working on a project that I last touched in 2005  and even then I hardly done anything to it lol, but I am not going to post pics of my progress as it's a pattern that is printed on to linen and I feel like I am cheating somewhat LOL

    So as soon as I am done with that I will pick up another UFO that was last touched again in 2005 and finish it off as there is probably just under half of it left to do! {See pic. below.}

This is a nice design - what is it called ? and how do you find stitching on black aida

We took our tree down today (well the OH did). Its nice to have everything back to normal but I do feel a little bit sad especially as I have to go back to work tomorrow :(

I'm going to pick some projects to alternate for my commute to work and also perhaps a project to alternate with my row of cats until my mr men design arrives.

hope everyone is having a lovely day

Enjoying looking at all your designs..

Quick wonder: How do you all stitch...do you do rows at a time, blocks of colour or what...

I stitch all the main big bits of colour first and then fill in the little bits afterwards, I also like to do the backstitch as I go too..
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

I always start in the centre of the design (although wish I was brave and could start anywhere ! I do stitch in blocks of colour typically with the darkest colour first, stitching the white n creams last.

You can probably tell how I stitch from that last picture :D

I tend to start in the middle and work outwards, stitching blocks of colour. I leave the backstitch 'til last, though I shouldn't, as I hate it with a passion:rotfl:

In the wedding sampler, the design's split into four pages so I've done top left and top right and am now on the bottom left hand side.
  • i start in the left hand top corner and just keep doing a page at a time if there are a few of them lol

I never knew anyone hated backstitch! I LOVE IT!!! For me its when the picture really comes to life.

I start a project in the middle and save the sections of the pattern I like most until the end. I always backstich as I go along, I backstitch when Ive finished an A4 page of the pattern as a reward!

All the pics on here are great, Im going to attempt to put on pics of my 3/4 finished cut thru castle on later!!

I always start in the middle and work outwards, doing big blocks of colour first. Then I try to do the little bits of different colours as I go along, or they'd drive me mad on any complicated design if I had to do them all at the end! And although I find backstitch drives me crazy I tend to leave it to the very end, and then get annoyed that I haven't done it earlier!
