This site http://www.janetgranger.co.uk/tutorials.htm has some good info, my mum wants me to stitch her a tiger rug for her dolls house and I came across this site while I was looking for a chart.

Thanks for that - let me know when you start and how you get on please :D I'm mainly looking at Christmas designs so she can have her house decorated for then (plus it gives me plenty time to stitch stuff) :)

Think I will start with a nice easy cushion

  • Louise, I saw that article too and although they look amazing I never think I will be able to stitch them. I would love to see your finished work and how they were to stitch.

Had to pop into habby craft today to get the missing silver thread. I did see a few kist I liked but forgot my £5 off voucher so wasn't tempted. Will try and find them online cheaper ;)

    Have a great Sunday :j

Just poppin in for a very quick cuppa and a catch up with you all.

Loved your coaters Louise - bet the teachers loved them too.

Belated birthday greetings Ruth_honey. Hope you had a lovely day. Just had a piece of your cake - thanks - it was scrummy. ;)

Postalalwaysposting - your eye looks stunning. Bet it looks great in real life.

As for my latest reading material - it's takin me all my time keeping up with your posts - where does the time go. If I sometimes have a bit of spare time the stitching comes out and reading is getting sidlelined im ashamed to say.

What lovely cards observer and ejs

Was wondering if the offer is still on for the World of Cross Stitch Magazine - 5 and £5 and will it be ok to cancel direct debit once that offer has finished. Would appreciate any advice.

Do I need to register or whatever with flickr or something to post pics of progress. Sorry but I'm not very technical when it comes to stuff like this :o

Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies

  • Its finished :j I can't quite believe it, my bigest cross stitch design finished ready to frame. So in all it took 10 days and 15 nights + 1.5hours, converted into hours thats approx 131.5 hours to complete.

There was a time when I thought I wouldn't getit finished intime but the wedding is just under a month away so plenty of time to get it framed. Woo hoo :T

I started my new kit last night, its a Gorjuss the foxes design. Unsure what I am doing with it once done but it looks lovely.

Have a great week all and I will soon be updating my progress for my new kit, if you don't mind. Thanks for encouraging me to finish this design :D
