:rotfl: Bet your threads come tomorrow! You will have probably be finished by then though! :rotfl:Well I couldn't wait - I went to Hobbycraft and paid their silly price (79p) for DMC 780......wasn't going to get the Lion finished before end of month if I didn't, and I have 3 projects waiting, plus my HAED.
Off to get tea sorted...no BBQ today....tipping it down now, thunder too...no lightning yet!
Stitching tonight again, before and after Monty in Italy.

Hi Girls
Hope you are ok. I am stressed out my box with work - was working today at one of the other sites a bit of way at home. Hubby still not found a job. Don't know if he is trying he says he is but I don't know. Only reason why I agreed to work away from home to get a wee bit extra money. Going to do a wee bit more on the wedding stitch. Listened to the radio today for the wedding, so seeing some pictures now - she was beautiful but I think every bride is. I really liked the prayer they wrote even tho I am not that religious.
Kind wishes to all

I had a nice day yesterday - I watched some of the Royal Wedding whilst stitching my 40th Wedding Anniversary card :j (quite an appropriate thing to stitch don't you think?) Its coming along nicely and is nearly finished now. I won't be able to do much today as I have a busy day but plan to do some tomorrow and hopefully finish it
I have tweaked the design ever so slightly - well I have stitched the 40 in three strands and the text happy anniversary in 2 strands rather than one strand for both. Certainly for the Happy Anniversary text, this has made it stand out better. Its my first project on evenweave and I am really really pleased with it - I think it will look fab when finished
I will try to post a picture.
So not much stitching time available today
but all day tomorrow and Monday available for stitching before back to work on Tuesday. boo but only about a week at work before a few more days off = more stitching time. YAY!
Happy stitching weekend all.0 -
Well, postie arrived and guess what??
No threads!!
Quite surprised actually, Acrosstown are usually quite quick (I ordered on Tues) so I guess they will be here on Tues coming.
