Good evening Ladies.
Louise Gorjuss really is gorgeous all framed up, your sister is very lucky to own her.
I have just finished Popcorn so thought I would stick a piccie up for you. My apologies for the picture quality as I can't find any batteries that will power the proper camera, so having to make do with the phone for now.
To finish it I've done all of October and all the backstitch outline and some other ickle bits here and there. Yay.
Now onto the mother in laws African lady from one of the crosstitcher mags, there's not much to don on her really but I'm determined to get all these WIPs sorted before we move house.

Hya all, lovely work being done!!
Louise, yet another wonderful picture...still can't believe how fast you are!!
Emma133, I have the laptop frame that Louise suggested...it is fantastic! I too have a big HAED work (525 x 350 stitches, 44"x31"), and have rolled and tacked each side to keep it together while I do a page or two. Once I have to move further, I will unpick the tacking, then redo it for the next position. I tried pegs, but they kept pinging off and catching the threads.
I have it off the frame atm, as I am working on the Elegent Lady (175 x 182 stitches) at the moment. I did get a set of mixed longer frame lengths to hopefully use with the frame support, but some of the corner bits won't come off, but I will persevere!
Good luck with what you decide to do....I must get back to my HAED some day (before Louise gets on at me again!!!:o). Think I will get a few more stitches done on my Elegant Lady before heading for bed...she's coming along nicely!

Looking forward to seeing your elegant lady progress. It's such a lovely design, the one I stitched for my mum last year has pride of place in her living room.

My niece would have loved that! She (and therefore I) knows all the names. Sounds and looks like great fun
