The IMG link has gone from Flickr! You can only share the link or the HTML now :|

Don't share these secrets via PM Kez :D
They've gone and changed the webpage on us that's why, you need to click the little drop down next to the Facebook, Twitter etc buttons and then it'll open up the Share menu.

Open up the 'Grab the HTML/BBCode' section and then select your size and switch the radio button over to BBCode and this will give you what you need.

I've found that it has remembered my selection each time I go in.

Let me know if that's okay, if not I will take a screenshot to show you. :)

    Hello,

I'm new-ish to the cross stitching thing. I've got so many ideas running through my head I'm not entirely sure where to start. How do people prioritise? Is it best to do the big ones and then take a break to do and finish the little ones? Or the other way round? I just want to crack on and get it started!

I have at least 3 projects on the go at the moment .... these are a new baby design I am stitching for friends - (in welsh!), a some bunny to love card that was meant to be for mother's day :rotfl:the anniversary card I'm stitching which is coming along nicely. Then I have the UFO of a Row of Cats. I'm also intending on stitching some fridge magnets for those moments when I am itching to stitch but I don't want to do one of my more complicated projects, so something I can just pick up and stitch without thinking or without really following the chart.

I recommend that you have a large project to sink your teeth into and will keep you busy but also have a couple of small projects on the side to keep things interesting.

Emma133. You have done some beautiful work there. Get them framed and on the wall! :D

Haven't done any stitching myself for a few days so I think I'll go get on with some now.
    Have a nice afternoon ladies!

Hello ladies, lurker popping up to say hello again.

I'm happy today as I have finished (as much as I'm going to) a WTP advent calendar started before Christmas :j I've decided not to do the numbers and hoops and just keep it as decoration as it wouldn't get used as a calendar anyway.

This means that I can carry on with this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collection-Lightning-Counted-Stitch-Kit-15/dp/B000ADYSVY which I've had for years and started a couple of weeks ago but can continue without UFO guilt. That's not to say I have no more UFOs but they're currently out of sight, therefore out of mind...

I'm also trying to decide on a small piece to do when it's not convenient to drag White Lightening out. My utility needs brightening up so I'm considering something like this http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Cat-on-a-Washing-Line__ANC-MSH0006.aspx or possibly this http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/One-Hundred-Years-Chart__LIZ-LK147.aspx which isn't bright but I love the words and it might make the rotten washing go a little easier!
However on the plus side i picked up a cheapy thin dressing gown for £5 for the mat hospital in TK MAXX (bargainious). I'll never ever wear it again after as i love my thick fluffy ones too much.

Sorry for clipping your quote but just wanted to say - WASH IT FIRST! I did exactly the same thing when I was preparing for DS and ended up with white fluff all over my navy maternity nightie :o I either had to keep it on and be too hot or look like I'd been bathing in cotton wool :rotfl:

Oh, and my thoughts fwiw on peoples nervous twitches ;). If you all knew each other in RL there'd be no problem, if you'd donated your no longer required charts to a charity shop for instance, there'd be no problem so I don't think anyone should be feeling guilty about anything. If you're worried about searches finding your posts, just remember that PM stands for PRIVATE message!

Sorry for the long post and for butting in. I don't have the opportunity to post often so I don't feel I can belong here but I love seeing your work and one of these days I'll set up a flickr account so I can share some of mine.

    Back to lurkdom!

    A x

I've always wondered whether the letters in magazines are made up or not and when I bought Cross Stitch Crazy two days ago, there's a letter in there from someone in Kent saying that she enjoyed watching the Royal wedding on TV recently and she'd love to know if there was a chart somewhere of Westminster Abbey. Cross Stitch Crazy has suggested two, one of the Abbey and one with dates of William & Kate's wedding day.

Now, I seem to remember that that particular wedding has yet to happen and Zara's wedding isn't until July. Was there another Royal wedding at Westminster Abbey and on TV that I've missed?

If not, I'll be writing a letter myself to Cross Stitch Crazy ;)

    Hmmm...bit suss...

I've had several letters published in the stitching mags, so they're not ALL made up!
