Louise a year, me maybe 3-5 years :rotfl: The more i look at it the more i love it. They stitch it on 25 count over 1 so is 18"x14" (approx), i was converting to 18ct aida and its size was 25"x20" What alternatives could i stitch it on ? and has anyone stitch over 1, i thought its usually over 2

I couldn't do it over 1 on 25 count - I would chuck it cos my eyballs would probably fall out :rotfl:

If you wanted to stitch over 2 you would be better going for a different material

25 over 2 would give you an equivalent of 12 and a half count aida, which is almost as big stitches as the size kids use to start with.

I have stitched my HAED's on 14 count, but my next one will be on 16 count to give slightly smaller stitches. Don't know if I would personally go as small as 18ct (32ct evenweave over 2) as I would be less likely to stick at it, but you might want to consider that instead of 25ct over one?

Hi everyone. That Atlantis HAED looks amazing. Such beautiful colours. I'm just over halfway to finishing another page of Forest Walk. I'm using 18 count Aida for it which is my favourite material. I wish everyone who has been poorly well. I think I'm coming down with something and I really don't want to be sick right now. Too busy at work. Good night all. X

thanks Mrs Moneypenny. hey, you weren't just on the telly giving financial advice were you? :rotfl:

Skoobie - whilst i like the HAED designs, i dont think i'd ever have the patience to stitch them... but that one of the elf and the tree is just stunning, so beautiful. i've not yet seen one i've liked as much as that one.

    Hi,

Just a qiock one for now. Have just brought Cross Stitcher to see the change in format that's been mentioned quite a bit (I've not brought this one for about 10 years!). I do quite like it but I'm into craft in general not solely cross stitch so I can see where you're coming from - the name is now misleading.

Did someone want a ;) of the campervan chart? If so PM me.

Lots to do as I've a cupcake order, biscuit orders (Mothers Day) and candles to make..also got to finish my mothers day pressie too!

    Hope you're all Ok xx
