Thanks but i'm ashamed to say its not that big, its only 46cm x 19cm the pic is a tall as it gets and is the left half of the design. It is very fiddly though a few stitches of one colour then a few of another, grrrr :rotfl:

Lovely though it is i'm afraid it would take me several lifetimes to do something like that. It is absolutely stunning.

23rd spiral congrats on the house. Glad you're getting your treatment and becoming pain free . Apart from the pain of the bill .ouch .

23rdspiral - that's great news about the house, so pleased for you :T Are you all packed and ready to move? Hopefully things will start to turn around and this will be great a week for you now your pain is going to :)

nmm- I love all the HAED's, yet another fabulous one! I'll be watching your progress keenly if you get started one day.

No stitching being done at all here. I started the training course for my new job yesterday, so I have no free time at the moment. It was a nice day actually, more chatting then learning, but I think it'll get more intensive today.

I love it too, so i may have to do it, maybe it'll spur me on to finish Czar. I checked its specs, its 90 colours and the size is 450w x 365h  Does anyone have a lifetime project? i think mine would be one too :rotfl:

Oh i forgot all about the challenge, my April challenge to finish Page A of Czar (excluding backstitch), if i can manage that then page B will be much quicker as its only a small portion of the tiger the rest is grass and clouds.

Sorry, been MIA for a week or so, taken a good bit of this morning to catch up with all the threads I visit!

Wonderful pieces of work everyone...love the Flower Faireis and Highland Living, fantastic!

That Atlantis HAED design is amazing...but still got to work through all the HAED I have before I even contemplate any more! :D:D

On that front, I got a bigger clip frame (17" square) to have the Astronomer in, so I don't have to keep moving my other works from my lap-frame.

I'm off to the Craft & Hobby show at the NEC tomorrow. If anyone is going to be there and fell they would like to meet for a chat PM me before 8am tomorrow. Sorry about short notice my friend has just confirmed she has the tickets.
Ooh, I went on Sat with a friend - wasn't it fantastic!!

We were supposed to go on Thursday, but I was too ill..went by train on Sat and got in before the show started. One (of the very few men about) said he had never seen so many women together in his life before!!!! We stayed until 4pm, so had a really good day.

We were gobsmacked at the marvellous embroideries, quilts and cross-stitching. I had a bit of a natter with Jane Greenoff on her stall...really interesting. She had samples of sampler books there, a lovely idea, so might have a go at making my own sometime. We found the Hobbycraft bit far too busy and managed not to buy anything there...unlike the other areas :o:o
Didn't buy any kits, but did get a new frame (see above) and a clip light..really bright!

Must stop now and go and pick up DS1 from college...he finished today, goes back before Easter, then off again for the two long weekends after!!

Designing a coaster this week...needs to be done by Monday, but beforehand I need to make some patchwork pot-holders for MIL (& post by Friday :o). It's all go!!

Hope everyone moving manages to get there without too much hassle, and those expectant mums can get some quiet, stress-free time to themselves :)

(((((Hugs))))) to all who need one.

My Vision at the Lake HAED was a bit smaller at 400x300 and that took a good 8 months so the Atlantis one could easily take over a year

I shall have to say thank you for the ;) offer but be firm with myself and say I will try and get some of my other ones done first.

However if you decide to tackle it after Czar, I will look forward to following your progress! :T
