WIP: Mr Men & Little Miss Calendar - Week Ending 13th March. by KezBabyBabe, on Flickr
Started on Tuesday 8th March, was hoping to have this square fully stitched by the end of the weekend. I didn't quite get there, but I'm hoping I'll have it done tonight.
Here's the progress week ending 27th March, I kept forgetting to update you after week ending 20th March, but for your info at the end of that week, Mr Tickle was partly stitched.

23rd - Wow a new woodland folk, cant wait to see if its not just a magazine only chart
Marru - Love the eyes on your finished dog picture. Very complex with all the black shades.
Shelly - That wedding sample is coming along really well. Can't wait to see it finished now with the names. The fairys are adorable, I really like the one hanging from the rose, your Mum will love them!
Nykied - I am not that overly impressed with the lastest cross stitcher either. However I really wanted the hippy caravan and cars. I don't think I will be buying next months as I only really want the bunting chart.
skoobie - That santa is amazing, certainly worth the many months stitching I think.
Chicky - Happy Birthday :j :j
Louise - lovely little cottage design, you can certsinly see it now finished, your updates of all blues wern't that interestingHowever the finished design is amazing
So I haven't sticthed in ages, well over two weeks I imagine. I just haven't had the time or the inclination. However time is counting down so its full steam ahead :rotfl:
Here is the design after 3 days, its the first A4 sheet of the design only 8 more to go
Have a great sunday night all :beer:0 -

I've signed up for three issues of Cross Stitch Collection for £1, then I'll be switching to that, so if the bunting one is the only thing you want out of it, drop me a PM closer to the time and I'llyou.
On that note, I need to get the craft room sorted so I can get to the scanner, as I still owe some Disney charts to one person0 -
Just a quick card that I made for my Mum, for Mother's Day.
I went with 'With lots of love on Mother's Day, from....' option, inside, as I decided this year I would omit 'Happy Mother's Day', as it just didn't feel right, because I know it won't be a happy day for Mum this year, in fact no days are really.
Anyways, this was a free kit in a magazine about 5 years ago lol, I decided to use my own card though (it was a complete card kit), and omit the bow too, on hindsight though I shouldn't have put that bit of ribbon behind the aida, it seemed like a good idea at the time lol
Anyways, will be back later, as I saw an advert in my World of Cross Stitching magazine, for another mag, that has quite a few charts in there that I wouldn't mind, but I can't get the mag here, so hoping someone here has it and can send me's of the charts
nykied mentioned Disney charts for someone, I'm guessing that 'someone' is the same 'someone' I promised I would check my magazines for Disney charts, I promise I haven't forgotton, I have been really busy lately, and I still have quite a few mags to sort out, (I'm about half way through them), and I will get back to you as soon as I can!13 Projects in 2013 Finished: 5 of 13

My poor father in law was in tears he thinks it is beautiful and wanted to know how long it took me to stitch cos it must have been a long time. I had to remove the glass for my mil to look at it as she is totally blind so looks with her fingers. She was thrilled cos she could feel what it said. So big thanks to nykie for sending me the pattern.
Louise - that looks so lovely and peaceful.
Maria - *hugs* i hope your grandad gets better soon.
sorry if i've missed anyone or anything - i'm not really with it right now.
i've had a cold which gave me ear ache which got really bad. i rang NHS direct for advice but it was 16hrs wait for a call back!!! so i phone boots pharmasist, who was amazing and said take decondgestent and what to look out for for trouble. the pain escalated to being like a migrane but on the side of my head. so i also took 2 ibuprofen in desperation...15 min later the most horrendous pain i've ever felt, squeeking, cracking and popping. 30 min after that i was back to just a headache. the clear goo coming out of my ear was a little worring but at least it wasn't brains!
i just got back from doctors - my odd cold is indeed an ear infection - she was shocked at NHS Direct's reaction as it could have been serious. she could see dried blood so i've a torn eardrum and the other is possibly going to go the same way. not fun. the deafness and tinnitus is also not fun.
oh, and i broke a tooth on sat so have a cut and swolen tounge and can't eat it hurts too much. so i'm saving on food (!), and couldnt go out for a friends birthday which was a saving(!), but am dreading the bill at my emergency appointment later today.
and i thought i'd reached the end of my teather last week! sorry everyone for grumbling again. know what though? there's so much gone wrong these last few weeks i feel like i'm past crying about it and am laughing instead! :rotfl:Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
I have an ear infection too!!! And the antibiotics they've given me are giving me a bad belly (you don't need to know that maybe, but I feel I know you) x
Don't you just love spring...!0
