Ooooh maria hope your grandad feels better soon.

Finally went to visit my in laws today and took the diamond wedding sampler . My poor father in law was in tears he thinks it is beautiful and wanted to know how long it took me to stitch cos it must have been a long time. I had to remove the glass for my mil to look at it as she is totally blind so looks with her fingers. She was thrilled cos she could feel what it said. So big thanks to nykie for sending me the pattern.

I'm glad they liked it. With such a reaction you know it's appreciated.

I haven't stitched today. We went gadget shopping this morning for hubby, had a kip this afternoon then went out for Mums birthday meal this evening. It's not her birthday for a couple of weeks but had to do it sooner than originally planned because of Dad going in for his op just before the actual day.
I hope to do some stitching tomorrow while the F1 is on.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

:j:j:j although (I personally think) the F1 is boring - I do welcome the stitching opportunities it presents.:D:D:D I tried to stitch while catching up with Waking the Dead last night - it didn't happen...

not sure what the plan is today? with the weather being so nice, would be nice to go out but sun = crowds and busyness which I hate so might have to hide at home with my stitching :rotfl:

<<hugs>> Maria, hope he recovers soon. please don't feel guilty about not visiting for a day am sure he'll understand.

CG am soo pleased the sampler was liked and well recieved, think id'a been crying myself.

i've not stitched for (what seems like) agessss. soo much to get ready for bubba (3 weeks till eviction.... unless plans change tomorrow). then i keep having to go for baths in evening cause my back is killing me which end up lasting almost 2 hours then by time i'm dry and put my creams on (gtting increasingly difficult) i'm just too shattered to pick up a needle.

during the day DS is running around and even on DHs days off by time we've spent half the day at hospital he still #pesters' me so actually DH gets more rest then me. really am gonna have to start shutting mysef away for a couple of hours.

hope everyone remembered to change their clocks, for the first year ever i have a mobile phone that updates automatically - yayy
