Happy Birthday chicky :), hope the day gets better for you. Sounds like it's been awful so far, but it can only get better I guess.

I finally did some stitching today, so I'm hoping the rocket will be all finished at some point tomorrow, then I can post a finished picture. It'll be the first thing i've finished since joining the cafe :D
  • Awwww poor Chicky - what a horrible selection of things to happen - hope it gets better :)

Any plans for this evening or the weekend? xx

Haven't done much stitching this week as have been busy "nesting" and forcing hubby to help..lol

As mentioned before we have serious damp in what will be our nursery room and finally got the Housing Executive to deal with it. They have known about it since November, well we first reported it 10 years ago, but they started dealing with it in November. Two weeks ago they came and took all the plaster off the back wall, then came yesterday and put in a new damp proof course and informed us that this took 2 weeks to dry before they can replaster it. I was fuming.

Every other baby I know gets to come home to a lovely room...ours is coming home to a building site...

Went for another scan today and our date was moved as well, we thought we had 4 weeks today to go, but we actually have 2 weeks 6 days and baby is 6lbs 12 and head is enagaged so could go at any minute and haven't even a hospital bag packed,.

I am so annoyed at the minute and hubby thinks I am getting at him for not getting a move on with the decorating, but I am really not I am just so anxious about everything being clean and tidy. If I try and do something to help, then it is a fault because he isn't doing it, or if I suggest that my Mum or brother will help out, it's a fault cause he wants to do it all himself....

    Feel like screaming...xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

    Happy Birthday Chicky!

Not done any actual stitching today but have worked out the placement of our names and the date. The main bulk is done, just names and date to go.
Will double check again before I start stitching though because the marks that tell me where each line starts has moved several times because of my inability to look at the correct number on my workings out :o:D
I still have to decide what colour to use for the names and date. Had originally planned to use a pale pink but not so sure now.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

will do 23rdspiral..... must make myself a to-do list as brain is all over the place.

welll my birthday has been ever so exciting... i'm thinking i may just pretend it hasn't existed then i don't have to be a year older.... will that work??

just to bore you.... cause thats the sort of mood i'm in today (sorry):
    - got up and got DS up. got him ready for childminders (actually had some help from DH).
    - half hour later got my birthday pressie (that was really looked forward to as i went and pointed it out to DH yesterday then gave him the money to buy it!.... not even wrapped up... no cards nowt!)
    - took DS to childminders... went to the hospital.
    - had my liver scan..... all clear so still a mystery.
    - waited nearly an hour to see my skin consultant as the mat hospital hadnt returned my notes and they waited until i actually got there before bothering to go look for them.
    - waited half hour for my prescription of cream that will do nothing as i need antibiotics which i can't have as they will inflame my OC. eventually leaving at 12.

but i was milldly amused by a delivery man stopping me half way up my road with a "do you happen to know the people who live at number x"... "yes me"... "really??"... "yes".... "ohh good i've a parcel for you i nearly had to take it back to dept but thought i'd have one last try first"....... less amused that it was only hubby's new shoes. :rotfl:

ohhh and am furious with amazon marketplace.... ordered a book the other day. should have been on next day delivery (free trial offer)... turned up 2 days later. opened it....and (fair enough it was listed as 'used')........but the first 14 pages of the novel had been ripped out!!!!!! so now i have to go out tomorrow to queue in flipping post office to post it back!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHICKYWIGGLE
