craftygranny..... i hope daddy didn't come home with a hangover....that woulda been funny!!!! glad mum and baby are doing well though!!
OHHH must update my squiggleture.
He was home by 11 and he'd only had 2 pints cos he didn't want to disturb the baby and his partner said he told her to get some rest and he sorted the baby at midnight and again at 5 pm . She was thrilled as he'd gone out to celebrate his birthday which was on tuesday when he was at the hospital all day.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Bit of background, my hubby is an alcoholic but has been super good for the past while, only this past week has been hell. He had a drink on Sunday and then again on Wednesday. This morning I went to the shop at 9.15am returned home and he was away out. He won't answer the phone and has no credit on it to phone me. He has a sister who lives about 50 miles from us who also drinks very heavy and I think he is away there, but I have no contact details for her. He has no money but a PS3 game has also vanished which we only bought the other day and was still sealed so I assume he has taken it back and got the £40 for it. Makes me so mad as we have so much to sort before the baby gets here and it's due in just under 7 weeks. If I went into labour now I have no way of getting in touch which him...so selfish...
Sorry for the totally off topic rant..xx
Oh caroline i'm so sorry to hear this you must be worried sick. I hope things sort themselves out for you soon and he comes home.
Chicky big hugs to you too.
My oh used to drink a lot before i had my kids and if i said anything and he decided not to go he'd take himself off to bed sulking like a 2 year old at 7 pm .lolCross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

He won't have a choice soon. lol . His partner loves her job as a nursery manager and wants to go back to work in around 3 months but they aren't keen on him going to nursery full time . Sam is going to go part time at his job he's assistant manager at toby carvery but says he'll wait on tables if he can't do that job part time.So night duty will be his as she leaves for work at 6.30 am .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

If anyone is interested in the patterns/instructions for the friendship bracelets or the Mr Men/Little Miss chart, just drop me a pm with your addy and which one or both that you want.
I haven't forgotten the person that wants the cushion instructions, I just haven't had time to dig them out and scan them in. I will soon though.
Just off to strikeout a few things in my project list post0 -
caroline - sorry to hear that
Hopefully you will hear from him soon, it's stress you can do without. I bet he woudln't like it if the boot was on the other foot and you disappeared wth no contact
Don't blame you for being p!ssed - if my hubby did that he would be coming back to a locked door. (((hugs)))
Kez - great stitching, andI really like the bracelet, it's a lovely idea.

caroline - sorry to hear about your other half. The only positive thing I can think of is that £40 wont last for ever. Hope he's home soon and full of apologies.
On a positive note, I no longer have my oldest UFO - it's finished:T:T I knowI probably shouldn't clap myself but I did start it in October 1998. Can't believe that with the encouragement from this forum I have finally finished it.
Anyway enough whittering here's the picture of it. Sorry the quality of the picture isn't very good, taken on my mobile.

Just need to wash, stretch and frame now. Don't know whether to treat myself and pay for it to be framed. If anyone knows of a framer near Birmingham I would be happy for recommendations, my framer closed down.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
