i bought some fabric from them before and i thought that was posted th same day. I did get a lovely e mail apologising that some were out of stock and saying it would be monday . I'm only desperate for one lol. It's to finish my anniversary sampler i ran out with two letters to go. The others are to do the sampler for logan so i need to stitch fast or give him it for his first or 21 st birthday after reading some posts. :rotfl:

What colour do you need? I have loads of DMC & can pop some in the post for you tomorrow. Can't have those stitchy fingers getting itchy...;)

No stitching for me today. Got totally distracted by a website with unusual places to stay. (Landmark Trust if anyone is interested.) Now really fancy staying in an old railway station in Alton, or a train carriage near Telford (http://www.coalportstation.com/). I'm not a train geek, but these 2 places look really fun. Loads of fab places on the LT site. Castles, gatehouses...(must buy lottery ticket tomorrow...). Anyone here ever done anything like this before?

Thank you ruth honey but unfortunately i was daft enough to try and use up some full skeins of anchor i had in my box it was 129 it is a beautiful kind of delft blue . But i ordered a new skein of that and 50 new dmc ones to fill my dmc boxes up . They colours are building up nicely now. Please Does anyone know how many stitches a skein will stitch then i can calculate more carefully in future. Hopefully it will turn up tomorrow.
On a brighter note i went to visit baby logan at the hospital tonight and when i got there the nurse came to say they were short of beds today so we could bring mum and baby home if we could arrange transport. 2 minutes later grandad was on his way. My son had gone out thinking it would be his last chance before they got home oops . Good job we had a key and the baby car seat .

Oh. I have hardly any Anchor-just odd bits left over from kits. Sorry I can't help. Fingers crossed it'll arrive tomorrow for you.

On a slightly stranger note...has anyone seen that odd new advert for Cravendale??? It's about cats getting opposable thumbs & you see one doing cross stitch!!! Makes me laugh...

Good morning everyone, I haven't posted for a while, as I have been super busy.
You are now looking at the Co-Campaign Manager for the new Waterway Safety Campaign, that was set up, initially on facebook. Our aim will be to raise awareness about the dangers of bodies of water, so that has been keeping me busy these past few days, and it really is good to be doing something pro-active and in the memory of my brother.

Sadly, it would have been his 23rd birthday, this coming Tuesday (8th), so it's going to be a tough few days.

I haven't done much stitching recently, but I do have an update on my Corrie kit, so I will post that in the next couple of days, and catch up with everyone's posts also!

Oh I've noticed that I am not alone in the Art of Knitting, throw making! Yay, glad to see I wasn't the only one to have a go at it, although I can knit, I only know the basics like casting on and off, regular stitch and purl stitch, so hopefully I will be able to learn more!

Right that's me going to bed, I have a splitting headache, spent all night sending e-mails to various places. Oh if anyone wants details on how to join the facebook group for the campaign, feel free to PM me and I will send you the link :)

Hope everyone is okay and has a great weekend!
