morning all. need to catch up with all your posts - have only managed to browse the last couple of pages - see someone was asking which was the best magazine ? I used to like Cross Stitcher but because it seems to be drifting away from cross stitch and is featuring more crafty stuff ?, I think my first choice of mag has to be World of Cross Stitching. I also like Cross Stitch Collection and I am thinking of subscribing to this when there is a subscription deal that appeals although saying that, I haven't bought the current issue because it wasn't wrapped in celophane, I looked through and there was nothing I wanted to stitch.

Talking about mags, I have hundreds of them ! and I would be interested to know what others do ? I am not ever going to stitch everything in every mag that I have ever bought so do I sort through them and just cut out the charts I like or do I keep them as they are ? I need to have a sort out because I have far too many and duplicates in some cases !

Morning! I've put all mine in those magazine files. I've gone throught them and picked out which charts I might want to stitch at some point and put those onto a spreadsheet, telling me which magazine a project's in, which issue and which box.

Any ones that I didn't find something in that I might want to do, I put aside and put them all on Freecycle.

WHoo hoo postie finally got his finger out and brought my package. Hopefully i'll get it finished this afternoon now.

I have far too many mags too and storage is a big issue. I used to just tear out the pages i liked and keep those but then i had 5 binders full and more mags . My hubby suggested scanning them all and either saving them to disc or to an external hard drive where it would be easier to store and sort them. One of his better ideas i think.

That Art of Cross-Stitch looks pretty good and would be good for a beginner who doesn't have any stash at all. Thank goodness I saw Art of Knitting first. ;)

I'm very fortunate with the mags I have, as the majority of them have patterns in I want to do. The World of Cross-Stitch is my mag of choice though I haven't bought any of the others before.

Today's challenges are: complete a started piggy card and finish a started friendship bracelet kit. And if I get time, start a somebunny to love kit free with WOXS.

Well this is the weirdest cross cross I have ever seen - my son's comment was "why". Nicely stitched though :)

My order from Sew and So came today - very happy only ordered on Thursday. Going to try out the Thread Heaven tonight and finish off my stitiching. How sad am I - I have 319 stitches left. I couldn't stitche last night so counted instead.:j

Will post a picture once finished.
