Sweetcarer hope things get better for you soon. I've been there and I know how hard it is, money is always tight for us. As Maria said try not to let it take over all your thoughts, give yourself something positive to concentrate on too. Have you checked if you can claim any benefits until your husband finds another job? Fingers crossed for you that things turn around soon.

I've no-one else to share this with and i thought some of you would like some good news. My OH passed his driving test today, his 2nd attempt but he only got 3 driver faults, i'm so proud, i will post the card i made for him later, he loved it :j

can i ask what HAED means

finished the cross-stitch and back stitch part of my pin cushion last night was going to start the scissor keeper today but came across a Scottish thistle bookmark kit that id brought from the car boot that's been started so did a couple of thistle heads on that this morning. cant get the swing machine out to build the pincushion till the house is back in order. the carpets now cant be laid for another 2 weeks so upside is I've longer to get the gloss paint done but downside is furniture cant be put back for another 2 weeks.

i finally treated myself to a washable pen so big projects will be easier from now on. is there a different colour the titanic i'm going to do is on navy adia so the blue pen doesn't show up.

Sweetcarer & Maria - **Hugs to you** keep you chin up and smile through it. I know it's easier said that done but we're getting to that point too since I've had to give up work. Ebay eases it a little if you've got things to clear out and list.

Well, I'd not picked up my stitching for quite a while (despite thinking I'd have loads of time as I was told to rest) - decided to do some more yesterday as MIL birthday is only a few weeks away and discovered that I had been one stitch out weeks ago - argh!!!! I spent yesterday afternoon unpicking and will be doing the same again today :mad:

Everyones stitching is looking great on here - loving Czar! xxx

HAED - Heaven and Earth Designs. It's company which has a lot of larger, and some quite spectacular designs.

You can buy white ereasable pens as well. I haven't bought one, but you can get them on ebay

Creeps on...I did some stitching last night! :j:j

But tweaked my shoulder this morning (drying my hair would you believe!)..been to the physio (already had an appointment re my back)...and in agony this afternoon

Have tried to do some stitching, but rather painful...neck sore too so have a whopper of a headache now...think I wil go and have a lie down...hope it eases the pain!

Nmm czar is looking fab . well done is it hard to stitch on dark colours. oooh congrats to your oh. i've never been brave enough to try and i'm too old now.
