We will only have my wage coming in and it will leave us with about £50 a week to pay for food, diesel, and gas & electric. I am so sick, hubby tries to reassure me but I can't sleep. I spent my lunch today crying - I was on my own. So sorry for my depression. You lot help so much, you are so kind, never forget that.
Kind wishes

So sorry to hear thatWe were there a year ago ourselves and things turned around, and I'm sure they will for you as well. All you can do is try and stay positive (not easy, I know) Don't ever be stuck kitless - I have loads of smaller kits sitting doing nowt that I will never stitch and I'm happy to share. We all have low times and need friends around us. We may just be people on a forum, but I met one of my best friends on a forum 6 years ago, people form fantastic communities and this is one of them.
Sending you big (((HUGS))) and hoping things get better soon, always here if you need to chat xxxdoes anyone have a copy of this? My mum loves the daffodil fairy and I was hoping for a

Just popping in before settling down to stitch. Only back from my local A&E department. I sit with my leg under me and stood up to go to the loo and put my weight on the "dead" foot and went right down, tumbling over the arm of the settee.
Hubby was trying to get baby's room sorted and heard me scream, he rushed in thinking I was in labour...so I was lying on the floor screaming, and trying to get through to him my tummy was fine but my ankle was killing me. Neither of us had credit on our phones so he had to leave me and go to the phone box to phone my mum to get them to take me to hospital.
They said it's not broken but I have torn the main ligament which runs round the ankle bone, and have to kept it up and on ice...it should take about two weeks to heal properly. They don't strap it up because it can cause blood clots when pregnant.
I can't put any weight on it at all so am using a wheeled computer chair to get from room to room...one of the few times I have been glad to live in a downstairs flat...lol;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

...unlike a certain someone with her neglected 'Astronomer' HAED....:p
I WILL get back to it sometime...honest!!! Let me finish The Elegant Lady...not done anything on her for a week or more either, then I promise to get the Astronomer out again! My problem is that I have soo many things that I want to make/do, be it X-stitch, knitting, sewing, crafting, gardening...and so much more. I really need to draw up some sort of crafting timetable, and I may get everything done...eventually!!
I am cutting DS's hair tonight, a major feat...then afterwards I think I will actually do some X-stitch ...after I have sewn up the first sock I'm knitting for DH...only 24 stitches at the toe to graft...won't take any time at all to do!
Thanks Louise for shaming me into stitching again...looks like you will have a difficult (and long-term!) job there...are you up for it? 'Cos I think I need a bit of cajoling every once in a while (read every week:D)!! :rotfl:

i've had my first ever non-working baby and hubby free day today since DS was born 2 years ago. met up with some uni mates which was fabby - and my stitching enjoyed a day out, not that i picked it up. just gonna finish munching this sarnie (cheese, cucumber and crisp) then give it an hours TLS (tender loving stithing).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
