I'm off to the Stitch and Craft Show in Braintree, Essex today. No idea what it'll be like, it's their first there. We usually go to Ally Pally but its such a faff getting there even though it's only 25 miles.

I'm going with my sis who is a craft fanatic - her hobby of the moment is beads and jewellery-making. Mum (87) is coming with us as she likes cross stitch, although she can't manage very well at the moment as she has cataracts (waiting to see if they can be treated). So, none of us needs anything in the craft line but we're bound to come back with stuff. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So, all in all I foresee a lot of money being spent by the Ericsmum family. (Plus we like regular coffee and danish breaks and a good lunch;)).

Hope you enjoy the Stitch and Craft Show Erics mum.

I have just ordered tickets for the craft and stitiching show at the NEC in March...going with a friend...trying not to think about how much money I might spend!! :rotfl:

Love all the Valentine cards...and other makes...must get back to my Elegant Lady. :o

    Hello all,

I fancy doing this for my cousin: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Happily-Ever-After-Wedding-Record__DIM-65045.aspx so if anyone happened to have a copy of the chart they could ;) I'd appreciate it!

    Hi Squishy..
I have this chart! Literally just finished doing it myself for a friend's wedding... Just need to find where I've put it :think:n as I've had a bit of a tidy up

I don't have a scanner at home but I do at work.. I'm back at work next Tuesday when sick note runs out so I shall set myself a reminder !
  • 23rd, I haven't forgotten, I am waiting for someone to lend me a CD drive as the netbook I am using now doesn't have one. Hopefully it will be done Monday :D

So I have been sewing on Ollie for 5days and need to take an photo to update you all. His head/face is done and his right wing so not much more to do, I shall get a picture for you before the end of the day.

If its not much trouble I wanted to ask your advice. I have seen a kit which I would like to do as a wedding gift for a friend. Her theme is butterflys in pink and silver and I quilled the butterflys for her wedding invites. Now this is the kit I want to do but how hard is it to change the colours of a pre-set chart? I would like to change the eye to brown with a pink butterfly and maybe pink eyeshadow (unless anyone has any other advice?). Will that work, I guess I can use the shade numbers in the green to get the matching pinks?

Any advice would be great as her wedding is in June so I will need to get stitching :rotfl:

again it looks like one the seller makes themselves as opposed to a 'proper' chart/ kit. I am sure if you message them they could create you a pink version
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Evening all

    I am FREEZING!

Problems with the boiler - had a service last week, everything fine, then phoned them on Wed as no hot water. Engineer out on Thurs, booked to come back on Mon with a new part however after he left we discovered that he had fiddled with something and now we have hot water but no flipping heating!!

Phoned back last night and they sent out another engineer this morning but he couldn't fix it, so we are going to have a lovely weekend with no heat. Can't do any stitching and I'm wearing gloves to type :o Kids are away to bed with pj's and dressing gowns on and thankfully they all have15tog duvets :rotfl: Dreading getting up at 6am tomorrow

Hope everyone else has a better weekend planned!!:j:beer:
