I've made a decision re the baby things I was imming and amming about... I am going for Bothy - Old McDonald...

What do you think? I thought it was much less babyish and more appropriate for their non-cutesy thing. I also figured if I was a bit late, it wouldn't matter :)

I love this - reminds me of a chart in a magazine from last year, which has animals all piled up on top of one another. That one's on my list but waaaaaay down.

    i agree.
i havent seen her in years but butterflies and purple are good for her....

love the first one - def that one. nooo keep the wording. :D
I think it's a kettle - very appropriate for a sleepy little cat :) My girly cat likes to drink tea - we give her some in a bowl now, because she used to naughtily steal it from the cups and burn her tongue!

    awwwwww - sooo cute.

love that one - another i've seen before and resisted the urge to do. I know in one of my magazines is an old mcdonald (very similar) calender which i want to do at some point.

loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Hi ladies.

I finally picked up my needle and done some stitching today! It's been 3 weeks since I have done any but now I am feeling pretty much back to my usual self so thought I had better get back into it.
I do have an occasional 'wobble' but they are getting fewer and further between.

Everyone's work is looking great by the way :D

    Hi gang

Sorry I have not been on much been manic up here. My old job finished last week so was busy busy packing up everything and so started new job yesterday and it was manic - still finding out all new things but have no access to internet - boo hoo!

I have not done much stitching as things have been manic but I have been watching you all from afar.

I don't know if I am happy as yet in my new job. I got my new uniform - but the jacket was too small - think they did in purpose I could hear someone laughing - when I looked at book later they shouldn't of ordered that size as there was no way I would of fitted into it. I still have to be assigned my own computer and all my bits and pieces are still in a cardboard box. Missing seeing the guys from my old bit. I am basically in the same place but a different dept as that dept took over my old dept.

I hope to stitch soon - I can feel withdrawls when I look at all your work.

Hubby is well but his work is giving him trouble again - this time I think they will make him redundant - see thread below for more details if you want them

 Not happy with this kit, two colours already don't have enough skein. I shall have to go into HC tomorrow and pick up the colours, the local shop only carry Anchor. Bit annoyed to be honest but I have to finish this design now :D

You can always let us know what colour you are looking for and anyone can see if they have it spare in their stash.

Well better go and make dinner, take care where ever you are.

    sweetcarer ;)

    Finished! by Mags_cat, on Flickr

I simplified the backstitching a little - took out some of the twiddly bits and lost all the french knots - cause I hate them! I think it looks good as it is and it wouldn't have needed all the extras anyway :)

Next project : Autumn Reflections (for my mum).
