Looking a bit of help...I had orginally wanted to stitch a Jungle Book sampler for my baby, but have now decided that although it will go with the theme of the nursery it will not go with future decor of a young boys room and so want to stitch something else, but don't know what..
Any ideas ???;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

I've the DMC Wild Ones alphabet sampler, is very bright and colourful and each letter has a animal with its initial, i.e. monkey for M, is big, but with your stitching you'd have no problemor you could maybe just do the inital of Spudniks name or maybe adapt it to his whole name.
Don't think I can post links or pics yet, but just google DMC Wild Things....
If you'd like,pm me and I will pm you.
Tyring to organise everything onto my sky drive but may take some time, and I don't tend to name things, just a2, a3 etc so taking some time to sort out:(
Ps also have the Wild Ones number chart too....My countdown to christmas 2011 began when I discovered this forum, thank you everyone! :rudolf::xmastree::rudolf:0 -
Dorastar - enjoy your week with family (& wine & stitching:D)
Keep finding new things to stitch, trying to finish Flitterflies for my sister-in-laws birthday, have lots of lovely things lined up to stitch, but all are for presents, I don't mind though, I just love stitching.
ps my organiser consists of a plastic crate (filled with threads, material, my stork scissors, thread heaven and ufo's) that I use as a foot rest, the desk lamp as my lamp and either chair arm as the frame for my hoop or elbeeze thingybobMy countdown to christmas 2011 began when I discovered this forum, thank you everyone! :rudolf::xmastree::rudolf:0 -

Has anyone here stitched any Michael Powell, I know someone mentioned his website adn I have fell in love with his tryptychs and scenes and am trying to chose which one to sew and would like any feedback on them.
Ohhh and I have a new sewing box.... well I need to paint adn laquer the outside and put new brass bits on it and reline the inside with some lovely wall paper - yes my darling OH has found me an old spanish Navy trunk as my sewing box, he thinks it will be too big...little does he realise.0 -
Thats so lovely, i don't have any kids but it looks really good. I also spotted a Dinosaur A-Z alphabet in a magazine the other day and thought oh if i had a boy that would be great in his room. Do you think the dog or the ferrets would like them :rotfl:
Depends if the dog and the ferrets are boys, I guess0 -
Found that organiser in my Needlecraft Magic:

It needs a sewing machine with a zipper or piping foot.
If anyone is interested in the instructions, just send me a pm with your email address and I'll send it through to you.0
