Just a quick thanks to everyone on here, you keep me stitching and have found it really useful when i fly as I hate flying with a passion so now keep doing small kits to keep me occupied.
I will have to sort out my stash so that i can help nudge if i have anything of interest.

Am v lucky about my other half he finds my stitching fascinating so hes very tolerant at me going into little sewing shops, just trying to get him to find me a local sewing shop in Spain....

Everyone keeping busy I hope

Had my brothers wedding earlier (omg my feet are killing me lol) and I gave them the Rennie Macintosh wedding sampler gift and asked if they would mind opening it during the night at some point as I would like to see them unwrap it.

I heard the brides gasp from halfway across the room :rotfl:They both loved it and set it up at the front of the room so everyone could see it, I am glad it was so well received :j

Going to have to put Touched by Magic away for a while - have found this design which would be perect for my gran:

She is 80 next month so going to have to knuckle down to a deadline again and get it stitched and framed...once I've ordered it of course

Blimey, you do know that there are only 28 days in Feb ? It's lovely btw, your gran will love it.

Oh, you've all been lovely and busy this week!

I had a medical on Friday and have to REST - argh! I wasn't pacing myself enough so no ebay or trying to start a business for the next week or two just reading, TV, sleep and of course PLENTY of time for stitching! ... You never know I might manage a few long days but probably still won't be as quick as half of you lot! :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed the wedding Louise, and that your lovely sampler was appreciated.

I love R-M's work...hope to redesign my bedroom with an RM style...may do a sampler for me and hubby to hang up in there...some day! :rotfl:

The picture for your gran is wonderful...I have been eying that one up too...but too many things to do already, so holding off! If anyone can get it finished in time, you can!!

I have stitched a :happyhear card for DH this week, will post a piccie tomorrow, to get everyone in the :heart2::smileyhea:heart2:mood!

glad the wedding went well and the sampler was aprechiated louise

finished two more of the winnie the pooh & piglet back stitch 'sketch' pictures. one for DD and one for godDD whos birthdays are both in march. done them all in different silks so all three look completely different. and changed the wording on the two for the girls to include a birthday wishes message and their names. the original hello there friend message one done in the proper silks and size adia will go to my best friend.

got the builders in from tomorrow for a couple of weeks so think i will hang on till after theyve gone before i decide what to do next. unless another little cover kit calls to me from my stash.;)
