I lost a close friend in an accident when we were teenagers and we played music from the CD he was listening to at the time. It was such a good idea and the feelings of shared love have stayed with me in such a posative way. And i totally get the Chesney Hawks thing! (oddly i was thinking of that album earlier today).
Yes, it was definitely a service suited to Steven, and he would have loved seeing so many people there.mrs-moneypenny wrote: »got a little winnie the pooh hanger to do next (another cover kit) its mostly long back stitches so it looks kind of sketched.

Morning all,
Sorry for not being on the boards.. Have been very poorly and ended up having a lovely holiday at the courtesy of the NHS for the best part of a week !
All is well now.. Was discharged yesterday afternoon and feel MILES better.
Managed to do a spot of cross stitch towards the end of the week.. and even walked down to the "shopping mall" (very posh in a hospital) and purchased a Tatty Teddy sampler to make for my OH for valentines. I shall post pics soon !
Now gearing up for catching up on all the tv shows I missed.. which my housemate kindly sky+ for me before heading to OZ for 3 weerks..bless her)

Angel stocking is finished...Can't believe how quick it was to stitch, just over a week, although some long sessions in there. Will get picture up later on.
Started my next one, which is called Christmas Pageant Stocking...this looks as though it may take slightly longer as loads of colour changes, but also good chunks of the same colour too so we'll see...xx

I've been reading through the thread this weekend, but was too busy to get around to any posting. It moves on so quickly it's always hard to catch up!Morning all,
Sorry for not being on the boards.. Have been very poorly and ended up having a lovely holiday at the courtesy of the NHS for the best part of a week !
Glad you're feeling better nannon, must have been an awful week for you. It seems like a lot of ladies on here have been having rough times lately, so hope things improve soon.
Soulie - It sounds like your brother had a lovely funeral (sorry if that's a slightly odd choice of words), I'm glad it went as well as possible for you.caroline78 wrote: »Angel stocking is finished...Can't believe how quick it was to stitch, just over a week, although some long sessions in there. The stockings are great Caroline, I can't believe how quickly you're still getting on with them!Morning all
Well I had a good stitching day yesterday, finished house number 6 and made good progress on house 7
I have said in the past that the 'Dictionary of' series doesn't appeal to me, but I must've missed the dictionary of homes. There goes another one to add to my ever increasing to do list
As I've been busy I've only managed to do a little bit of stitching but I actually went back to the rocket which wasn't my plan. Hubby nicked my camera (which is lovely and pink, so he must've looked great with it :rotfl:), and now I have no idea where it is, so I can't post any pictures.
Aargh, I can't believe how long it has taken me to type this without my s key. That's the third key to fall off in 6 weeks  A new laptop is going to be needed soon!0 -

I don't have internet at my mothers, but I can log in via the iPhone which means I still read what you are all up to.
While away at my mums I did the following (Just done thumbnails, so click to see larger image):

(After having to unpick so much Tigger-orange, I then ran out of colour, just as I had about 10 stitches left, I have some more at home luckily, so I finished everything else on this one.)

I still have some snowflakes to stitch up, so here's another one completed.

Current progress of another snowflake.
These little ones I do when I'm visiting other people.
My cousin popped in to give me this to do for her:

It's her birthday in April, so hoping to get it done and framed for that. This will be after the piglet cushion.0
