Thank you for all the kind comments. I'm pleased with it now it's finished. Just put it on a gentle wash so praying it'll be ok.

I remember seeing the charlie and lola i think they were cards . Someone stitched them was it maria? They were fab.

Just getting everything ready for my next challenge . My soon to be grandsons birth sampler.

Good news - definitely stitchy night tonight - dh is at work till 10pm and it is too wet and windy to get any schoolwork out of the car without it getting soaked or blown away!

Marking up the squares has speeded me up a bit and I've managed to squeeze in a few minutes most days to get squares finished off. Reckon I might get my target done this month again.:T

Bad news - been to docs this morning and might need a gynae-type op as I haven't been right since ds was born and he's nearly 4 now. Got to try some tablets and see if they help and go back in early march, if no improvement then referral to hospital - am a rubbish patient and hate hospitals so fingers crossed it won't come to that
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000
    Savings for big things £9017

Marru had posted earlier that her avatar below her name was a design she had found online, and I thought it was a good idea. I may be teaching Granny to suck eggs here but you can have a picture below your name if you want and I never did as I hate pictures of myself so was pleased to steal the idea of using a picture of the design I am currently stitching....:)

oh. i've never seen anyone have a picture below theri name, just stars. odd. am even more confused now. but i do now know what you mean, some peeps on UK Hippy have them - photos or little dancing people ect. Thanks. i've now a new word of the day!
While I am here wondering if anyone has issue 165 of The World of Cross stitch I am desperate to do the Charlie and Lola picture for my daughters birthday but its next thursday so thinking even if I ordered a back issue it wouldn't get here in time for me to do it so wouild be really grateful if anyone can help me:)

? i have that mag - from Bakewell second hand last week! scanner a bit iffy at the mo, but if you dont get them from somewhere else soon PM me and i'll persevere. x

Sorry I haven't been on in ages, been busy I have started working just 2 days (1 full and 2 1/2 days) in a fab school but I'm shattered in the evenings as it is a 82 mile round trip. I know lots of you probable commute more than that but I'm just not used to it. School is fab though, discipline is excellent I have to plan twice as much for lessons as I'm getting through is all as have minimal issues if any with disruption.

I'm thinking of you Soulie, I wish I could say or do something that will help, but I know that only your family will know and understand what you are all going through.

Craftgranny the bears are fab, I really like them - I have loads of cross stitching to do otherwise I would ask for a nudge.

It's my bf's mums 60th tomorrow but haven't finished the lily yet so think I'll have to give it to her at Easter instead. Hope with me being Irish she doesn't think it's an Easter Lily - even though it's pink and not white. Maybe I'll wait and give it to her in the summer so there is no confusion - will try to sort our pic of my progress tomorrow.

Oh my new nephew Kealan was born last Friday, he had to be induced before my SIL burst as he was very big weighing in at 9lbs 6 1/2 oz.
Some of you may remember that I finished this in Sept, but going to add the 3 boys names and DOBs on to it and bring it to Ireland with me when I visit them all at the end of Feb.

Reckon put 13 year old over the lying down bear, 7 year old over the hanging around bear and the baby's details over the peek-a-bo bear.
