Thank you so much for the kick. I have now managed to put it on the frame and actually started stitching. I was even doing it this morning while waiting DD to get ready instead of standing by the door anxious.
And I am already browsing the net to find my next project - I must be mad . I was looking labradors, wolfs and bears and actually found my avatar as a cross stitch kit :rotfl:I found looooovely bear but perhaps I need to finish this dog before I even consider putting any money down for another kit.
As soon as I find my camera (moved recently - still a big mess) I shall post a piccie."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Soulie - hope everything went as well as it could yesterday - was thinking about you.
Had a productive night last night. Finished main stitching and most of back stitch, only got about 20 french knots and a bit more back stitch to do then finished. Yipee.
I know I'm slow compared to some on here but want to say thanks for the motivation. Think I may have found my mojo again.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Well after everyone asked for a kick up the bum the other day i gave myself one lol left the lappy off and gave some attention to the calendar bears . Did all the french knots this morning and it's finally finished. Just needs washing , pressing and framing .

Stole your idea and used my avatar to show the piece I am working on at the minute...good idea as I don't like showing pictures of myself and couldn't think what else to use...lol
I know the feeling of wanting to buy loads of kits but after selling loads on ebay before Christmas on kits I had stashed and never gotten round to stitching I have managed to resist the urge to buy any more.;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

Arrrggghhh, came on to congratulate myself on finishing my January Challenge and getting the wedding sampler finished when I read this and realised I had forgotten the French knots. Was hoping to give it to them on Saturday (they are back from honeymoon then) but now thinking they might have to wait until Sunday at the earliest as I am out on the town tomorrow night.
Hope everything went well yesterday Soulie.
Caroline you are giving Louise a run for her money with the speed of the stitching :rotfl::rotfl:
