Hi ladies.
Haven't posted in over a week but have been reading most days. Since I posted the news about my Dad way back on the 24th Jan I haven't been having a good time. To cut a long story short I have had an awful time convincing myself that I am not about to have a heart attack or angina attack. (I have been having chest pains that were linked to back/shoulder pain before xmas) Have been to docs last week, had full bloods done and an ECG taken which all came back fine. My anxiety/stress/paranoia levels have been through the roof and I have been feeling extremely sick most days. I'm not usually a worrier so these feelings have come as a bit of a shock to me.
Last couple of days though I have been feeling more myself so decided I would do some stitching today (not touched it for over a week) but last night I typically went and hurt my back! Today I haven't been able sit up for any length of time so stitching will just have to wait.
Anyway, just wanted to say that everyone's progress is great. I love the Corrie kit that was posted and also the xmas stockings. Also love the finished Calendar Bears.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

The birthday fairy came today and brought me three Michael Powell stitchy sets - 3 little lighthouses, and some girly treats as well so am a happy bunny indeed.
Birthday tea was a bit scuppered cos we had a power cut so we all ended up at Morrisons for tea instead.
Have deliberately left all work stuff at work and planning on drinking and stitching (power now fixed) and watching some programmes I've recorded just for tonight:T
Hope you had a great birthday - feels like forever to mine but I want to put it off as I am 40 this year!OOh my birthday is tomorrow I wonder what the fairy will bring me?
Have a great birthday and you are blessed with the birthday fairy with lovely gifts.craftygranny wrote: »
Well done Granny! I remember you coming to the cafe at first with it and now its done. I remember a girl I worked with years ago doing the same one - I wonder how she is now and did she complete it. I remember showing her how to do french knots.
Kind wishes to all

Shelly sorry to hear about yout bad week or so and now your back. Hope things get better soon. I've had to give up work with my health and struggle to leave the house by myself for fear of having some sort of attack and ending up stranded alone. Don't let yourself get to that. How's your dad anyway?
craftygranny love the bears - have emailed you for athanks.
Hope everyone else is ok xxxCross Stitch Cafe 2011 - no 58 :A

i had to catch 4 trains today (1 change each way to get to birmingham), and got LOADS of stitching done, well loads for me that is! i've nearly finished the dark pink on the cupcake. i'm too tired to scan now, but i'm really pleased. and i had some nice comments too, which was nice.
