I've now moved onto my next project Fairy Flora (another Mirabilia)! Really excited about completing this work. Seems to be alot of blending using Krenrick filament and quite abit of beading involved. :T

    :Twell done.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

  • any ideas which projects???

for DD3 i am hoping to find a chugington chart and do some small motifs on disolvable aida attach it to a t shirt for her, she is chugington mad.

DD2 flower faries stitched onto a bag, she will be seven and loves bags shoes and purses

DD3 i am not sure yet, she will be eight and isnt really into anything other than reading, maybee some bookmarks or something

DS1 i am thinking about a notepad with something on it, he loves stitched presents but is getting to that strange age boys get to when they seem to be completley over ruled by there mates rather than what they actually like

DS2 I have been working on a birth sampler type thing, since he was came to us (my foster son) i really want to get that finnished for him, all the other kids have them and i dont want him to feel left out, its also something he can keep when he goes.

all by april, hmmm i hope it happens in time

Edited to add how much I love the colour of the fabric. It really works with the colours in the stitching.

I've amended my sig to show my new challenges.
Firstly I want to finish stitching Queen Anne House. Not sure how long the beading will take as I've not done it on that scale before. I want to get it framed up asap because it's stitched on paper and I don't want it getting ruined because I leave it lying around and it gets things put on it.
After that I want to get back into my Dictionary of Cakes. I've done this so far...

I want to finish the first 3 squares.
I would like to take part in a Cut Thru stitch-a-long (maybe one night a week?) & this year I MUST finish Mum's Crisp Afternoon.

I haven't touched it in a YEAR!

Across Town Stitching is £20 :) Yay to Ruth
  • I'll join in the cut thru stitch-a-long too, if you just let me get this one finished first :) That'll be a good way to keep me motivated. I'll have to decide whether to do the rocket or get a new one, decisions, decisions ...

Froddington - What is that nativity scene called? I want to stitch a nativity at some point (though perhaps not for next year as I've just done a large Christmassy design) and I love that one you have there. The colours are so vibrant.

Ellie - it's called Holy Nativity by Dimensions. It's a small design (5'' x 7'') but I think it may now be discontinued :( Let me know if I can help with it ;)

Ok, I'm now itching to start a Cut Thru. Anyone fancy a stitch-a-long?

iI have just ordered the gypsy wagon one, and a black lab kit. now i am banning myself from internet shopping
