    Pinkruth,

If you'd like to add these to our group pool you'll need to do the following :

On each picture - click on the tab that says "Actions" above the picture and click "Add to/remove from group". You should get a drop down menu that offers to add your picture to the "Moneysavingexpert.com's Cross Stitch Cafe Group". Click on that and your picture will show up in our group pool as well as on your photostream.

(They're gorgeous, by the way - I envy your paitence!)

Edited to add - I've just discovered how to invite individual photos to our group - and I could do that, but it does rely on me spotting group members' postings....if you add them yourself it *might* be more reliable :rotfl:

Have done this now, thanks for the tip.

  • Ruth_honey - I wish I'd given it some thought and started the back stitch as I went along. I'll know for next time though!

chickywiggle - I like that nativity. I think I might go for something Christmassy next, at least I've got a whole year to finish it that way. I hadn't seen the north pole cut thru before, I've only got the rocket out of the other Cut Thru kits.
  • I have five birthdays in march and april (all of my kids are then for some annoying reason) so i will be stitching and knitting there gifts before working on any new projects

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger

I have 3 cut thru kits in my stash and when I finally get round to starting one, I think I'll do the backstitching as I go. There's so much of it that it'll be daunting to do it all at the end.

that's what we all say......... until the next time!

The Cut Thrus I have are Pirate Ship, Princess Palace & the Narrowboat. I would also love North Pole, but Santa didn't get my wish list this year. Or maybe I've been too naughty! ;)

Ok, I'm now itching to start a Cut Thru. Anyone fancy a stitch-a-long?

I wish I'd found this thread earlier, then I'd have realised that all you sensible stitchers get back stitch out of the way as you go along. Oh well, I'm challenging myself to do some stitching every night this week to finish the sea. Then it'll probably take me the whole of January to do the backstitch (if I don't abandon it and move on to the next project :D)

I've now moved onto my next project Fairy Flora (another Mirabilia)! Really excited about completing this work. Seems to be alot of blending using Krenrick filament and quite abit of beading involved. :T

just as sooon as i've finished stitch/stash. i've written the "therefore" since last night thanks to a nap from DS and DH's friends bringing his kids over to entertain him between get-tup and tea time. ohhh and now its bedtime so a bit of washing up then back too it. this rate i'll have it done by end of first week of jan.

and the best bit....... hardly any back stitch!
