Cross Stitch mag staff are quite often useless. Any problems I've had with them have been a nightmare to sort out.:rotfl:That made me laugh but living life with a husband and four sons i know how true that is. In fact at times even when it's in front of their eyes they don't see it. unless it's a tv screen , pc screen , or games console.
..And I thought it was just my DH! So new to married life!!!
Got my parents coming to lunch tomorrow and my mum is bringing my box of old cross stitch mags (around years 1999-2001) so if anyone is looking for any really old mags/patterns PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Help! Does anyone 'have' or know where I can find a kit with the words Carpe Diem as a cross stitch?
Can find a tapestry version so if anyone has a copy I supose I could do it
in embroidery threads instead.
Thanks for any help.Wishful Thinking is free!0 -
Cross Stitcher did indeed drop through my letter box this morning and I bought Cross Stitch Collection in town so I don't see myself moving very far from the sofa this afternoon what with my newton bear to be stitched and two new cross stitch mags to be read. :j
I resisted the urge to pick up the new argo$ catalogue while in town - it seems to get bigger every year ?? and I really didn't fancy lugging it round the shops but since I've got home, their website is now back up and running and although there does not appear to be any new cross stitch kitsthey do have some money off the two forever friends kits. I like the alphabet one - perhaps when I have saved enough nectar points...
Totally off topic.... but if you are a fan of lush and have used their website to buy lush goodies then I'm afraid to say that they are reporting on facebook/twitter that their site has been hacked so if you bought anything online between oct 2010 and jan 2011 then your card details will have been compromised.
back to cross stitch - what is everyone planning to stitch this afternoon/tomorrow and if you don't mind me asking, what is the book that you are currently reading ?? (I'm after some new books to try hence the nosy request!!).
soulie - hugs. Hope you are ok. i think we speak for all of us that although some of our posts might not be mentioning you, you are very much in all our thoughts and we send you all our love. We are here for you when you need us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Flat Eric - i'm reading Sophie Kinsella's "Remember me" its FAB!! tho a bit confusing. I'd recommend any of her books - the shopaholic series is the best!! Before that I read the "belle de jour call girl" books which are good. my friend has almost finished with the first one if you want me to post it to you (assuming i get it back). I've got a load of other books in the celler - will see what there is and let you know later if you want any posting.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

Now I'm in a panic trying to find a nice piece to stitch for them in time  My mum is quite particular, and I know she wouldn't like anything that I've found so far. Has anyone seen any good 40th anniversary (or even general anniversary that I could personalise) that isn't too flowery? Everything I've seen seems to be all flowers!
Apocasaver, I have this (as a kit but I don't mindthe chart for you. It's the ruby wedding one I have, fifth one down:
