That's what I thought I'd do as it's difficult to know how much will be needed.

Not done much this week, h2b on nights all weekend and I'm working Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in the pub so will probably only have a couple of hours free in the morning whilst he's in bed. Have to sit quietly then..... and stitch so I don't wake him up :rotfl:No hoovering then??

    Hi ladies.

Just a quick update, Dad came home yesterday. He's now waiting on a referral to have further tests done to determine what kind of surgery is best for him.

Not touched my stitching all week so hoping to get some done today and over the weekend.

fab news Shelly, hope he makes a quick recovery with not too many tests.

Good luck lovecrafting..... anything exciting us nosy people should know about :p

do you know - you can see who the chatterboxes are....... some lunchtimes I have pages to go thro from the night before and today..... only about 5 posts!! disapointing people disapointing :D

managed a little bit more on cabbage patch last night (found another couple of mistakes but we'll glide quickly over that fact).

my issue is - i think that baby looks a lot like a boy!! if (shock horror!!) my friend finds out she is having a girl does anyone have any idea how i may change it....... or do others think it actually looks non-gender specific (i was gonna write unisex but thought it may get censored)? - tis this one for anyone who can't remember

Have also got to work on tweaking the font size at the bottom as I'd like to be able to put her eldest child on it to (one on left, one on right) as i didn't get round to doing him one.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

I'm doing a picture to send to my friend in Australia. I've asked at a stall at Wetherby market that does frames and they'd charge me £28.

That's for a square frame off the peg, a new mount (it needs a circular aperture), plastic glass and for them actually to mount it.

Does that sound about right to you lot? I've only ever used frames I buy ready-made and frame them myself.
Have a look at http://www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk/ (they've changed their website lately, but I've had good experience with them.

Does anyone have the chart for this?

What size frame? Square frames are quite hard to find sometimes & mounting in a circular mount could be a bit tricky. You could check SD Framing website to see what they'd charge. Postage is expensive on there but it would give you some idea if that's a good price. Unless it's a tiny frame, I think it sounds fair.

The frame I've been quoted on is 10" square, it's one they stock on their stall at the market. Basically, they're charging me £10 to put it in the frame and lace it, things like that.

They could supply all the things I need for £18, I'd just have to do it myself and I'd probably end up using duct tape or something ;)

I would just use some pink thread and stitch a little bow into the hair if you needed it to look more girly. :)

My stitching is coming along - I have finished another page and just about to start the next later on once the kitchen is cleaned and the kids are fed (fgs why do they need feeding so often....it's every flipping day!)
